*So guys this is the aftermath of the manager fiasco at Alibaug. It's completely altered and this version shows that Priya went to the manager despite her bad health. But the latter refused to confess anything and instead ran, pushing her away. Not exactly a party, but the success will be realised. Enjoy.*

Ram and Priya came back to Mumbai with their family after the manager fiasco. Everybody was exhausted so most of the drama was saved for the next day. Shivi said something about stuffing everybody's mouths with her heels if she heard any noise, and went to bed. The fear of getting choked on Jimmy Choo's lingered, so every bedroom door closed within five minutes.

Ram entered the room first and sat on the bed, immediately getting lost in his thoughts. The manager had been the only big lead for them and he ran away like a coward. Oh how he wished he had gotten something out of him! Krish's assurance of investigating another angle didn't help much. So he was dissapointed.

As the door closed in front of him, and he saw Priya locking it, his dissappointment freed itself and flew away. Relief took over as he thought about how she had been sick, and-after his thousand useless protests-still gone to that manager, had tried to compose herself even when she was feeling dizzy, and when that manager had pushed her to run away, she had tried her best to catch him. Anything could have happened to her, but she was here. She was safe.

The intensity of his fear of losing her and relief of having her with him broke free in seconds and he followed her to the end of their room. He turned her around, and hugged her tightly, still seeming afraid that she would disappear any second. Priya was taken aback by his action, not following what had happened to him. She was worried about him, even when they were driving back to Kapoor Mansion, she had felt that he seemed lost, but not to speak at the wrong moment, she had decided to remain quiet the whole ride. Although she had kept stealing glances at him, hoping for some kind of change in him. Needless to say, there had been none.

Ram shifted his hands behind her back, to hold her close in the best way possible. She worriedly said, 'Ram?'

'Maine bola tha mat jao vahan. Maine bola tha mai jaata hun, par tum toh tum ho. Har baat pe apni zidd. Kisi ki koi baat nahi sunogi.' He pulled apart and positioned her hair back behind her ear. He cupped her face with both his hands, glancing up and down, checking to see if she was alright. She held his hands reassuringly, saying, 'kuch nahi hua, mai hun yehi, theek hun bilkul.' She removed his hands from her face and held them between their chests. 'Aap bekaar hi chinta kar rahe hain.'

'Mai bekaar mein chinta kar raha hu? Mai? Priya uss manager ne tumhe dhakka maara, kya pta agar uske haath mei kuch hota, toh tumse bachne ke liye pta nahi kya kr deta. Ya usse agar tumhari baaton par gussa aajata toh? Kuch bhi kar sakta tha vo Priya. Aur tum yeh sb lightly le rahi ho, unbelievable!' Ram turned her around again as she tried to enter into the washroom.

'Aap toh aise bol rahe hai jaise choti si koi bachi hun mai. Jo vo mujhe kuch krne lagta aur mujhe pta hi nahi chalta. Aur agar kuch hone bhi vala hota, toh kya aap vaha nahi aate? Dusre hi kamre mei toh the aap. Isliye vahan mai apna nahi manager ka khyaal rakh rhi thi. Kyuki mujhe pta tha aap mujhe kuch hone hi nahi denge.' said Priya, with such surity that even Ram couldn't believe that it wasn't a taunt. He looked at her, sighing slightly, and she looked at his lips, seeing worry fleeing away slightly. Taking the opportunity, she went in the bathroom and locked the door to get changed.

After a while, Priya came out changing into her orange kurta and white pajama, which took longer than usual. She had looked herself in the mirror and found a change. She was glowing. The adrenaline rush had made her cheeks blush and her complexion even lighter. And that was from before. Before she had the talk with the manager, before the fish cake fiasco, she had been glowing all this time. The reason being: Ram. He had told her he loved her, that he wouldn't be able to live without her, that care, that concern, that love. She had not seen anybody look at her this way, make her feel that way. Her heartbeat was still at horse speed, it had been from the time Ram had looked deep into her eyes with his beautiful green ones, filled with tears, and confessed his love for her. Even now she wasn't able to control her smile when he hugged her, but she had to maintain composure. The love bite came into focus when she got out of her anarkali, and she just couldn't stop giggling like a lovesick teenager. She had to keep a hand on her mouth to prevent her voice from going out. It would have been the end of her 'khadoos demeanor' if Ram had listened to her laugh. She was wholeheartedly, completely smitten, she had known in that second.
