You woke up to the sound of your phone going off constantly. You shook your head, as you looked towards the phone and turned off the alarm. It was hard to gather your thoughts when you were up for so long.

It was only a few hours ago that you learned that something surrounded Runeterra, an army of corruption that could take out whole towns. There was a constant back and forth of messages between the other members, not to mention a girl named Kai'Sa, who was the leader of the other squad.

Riku: What do we do, Y/N?

Y/N: I don't know... If it's something this bad, then we just have to make sure we are prepared.

Riku: With all that training, you should be fine to at least help.

Y/N: But... I don't want to just help, I want to be to make sure we win. I don't want to be holding them back anymore.

Riku: You won't, don't let what Xayah said get to you!

Y/N: But even then, if she didn't say it I would still be feeling this way. I might have been able to handle myself with that big creature before, but I could do nothing to help the rest of them during that attack!... What kind of hero does that?

Riku: You have got to pull yourself together!... Look, it's been at least a week since that happened, and you've grown a lot during that time.

Y/N: Will it be enough?

Riku: Has that ever stopped you?

You only recalled the moments when you were in the trials before. Regardless of whether you had the strength to fight back, you did so anyway. You had a smile on your face as you pet Riku on the head, and he moved to your shoulder.

Y/N: You're right Riku, I have to do everything in my power to help. I will not let that stop me!

Riku: That's the spirit!

You got a message on your phone as you picked it up and looked, it was from Ahri.

Ahri: Meet me with the team during Homeroom, we are going to discuss what we will do. KaiSa's team is already out on the field. Make sure you keep your gem and you're familiar with you, we will never know what will happen.

Riku: She must have sent that out to everyone.

Y/N: Let's hope everyone got the message.

You put on your school clothes as you headed downstairs as Vi was the only one in the kitchen, with Cait nowhere in sight.

Vi: Hey little dancer.

Y/N: Where is Cait?

Vi: She wasn't feeling too well, and I didn't want to run the store today, so I decided to give myself the day off.

Y/N: Best part of being your own boss, huh?

Vi: You know it! I still made breakfast, just a little bit more on the go style.

You looked down to see a big blueberry muffin, and two strips of bacon. You quickly devoured the bacon as you took the blueberry muffin and a thing of milk before you went out of the kitchen.

Vi: Hey!

Y/N: Yeah?

You looked back to see Vi walking closer to you as she gave you a big hug. It was weird, she wasn't much of a hugger.

Y/N: Are you ok?

Vi: What?! I can't hug my son!?

Y/N: You can, but I thought you didn't like all the contact.
