INT. TAYLOR RIVER
(Minutes later, Henry and Edith sit by the river, having no choice but to live it out rough for a while, until they can accommodate themselves in another house. Henry is sitting bare chested, with his police trousers & boots on, with his back against the tree, with his knees standing up, holding his hands together, with his head down. Edith sits down and comforts Henry)
EDITH
(counselling Henry) It's okay. It's okay.
HENRY
(cries) Grandma. This. This is all my fault. Everything. Everything.
EDITH

HENRY
(cries) Until I burn that down. Because I'm a FREAK.
EDITH

HENRY
(cries) You always say that Grandma. But... I'm.. I'm becoming more and more dangerous.
EDITH

(An upset Henry looks at his grandmother)

(Edith puts her other hand on Henry's bare chest, feeling his heartbeat)
EDITH
(to Henry) Henry. I love you no matter what Henry. I will always love you. I will love you for who you are. I will love you for your ability. You will not change for me. I will always love you. We will get through this together. We will gain control. We will. Believe in me and yourself.
(Henry cries but smiles at his grandmother's kind words. Henry hugs his grandmother tightly, Edith feels the warmth of Henry's skin on a cold, windy night)
HENRY
(hugging Edith, cries) I... I love you grandma. I love you.
EDITH
(hugging Henry) I will always love you. No matter what. I'll always be here with you.
(Henry cries whilst hugging his grandmother, acknowledging his grandmother's kind words)
HENRY
(hugging Edith) I love you.
(Edith stops hugging Henry)
EDITH
(to Henry) We will get through this Henry. We will. We will.
(Henry cries and nods his head at his grandmother)
HENRY
(cries to Edith) Grandma. I. I.
EDITH
(questions Henry) What is it Henry? What is it?
HENRY
(to Edith) I. I. I was scared-
EDITH
(to Henry) Of what?

(Edith hugs Henry once more. Henry cries in Edith's arms)

(Henry continues crying in Edith's arms.)

(Edith stops hugging Henry)

HENRY

EDITH
(to Henry) I'm off to bed as well I think.
HENRY
(cries to Edith) Goodnight Grandma. Have a good sleep. But uh... where? Where are you going to sleep?
