Chapter 1.

Have you ever been in love??
I haven't, and as much as I would like to experience the feeling of being in love I just don't see it happening anytime soon in my life.
Especially with the type of guys at my school. All the boys at school can be qualified into three categories.
1- The jocks- the ones that wear jeans and a hoodie or a simple t-shirt but yet still manage to look good. They play a sport at school and are generally well liked by everyone making them popular and wanted by every girl.
2- The nerd/quiet guys - usually these guys don't draw attention to themselves. They live in their own world and only talk to those who talk to them first. Honestly, I think they are the most happy since they don't have to constantly hold up an certain appearance for everyone.
3- The Party/Junkie guys --These guys are known by everyone. They hang out in the back of the classroom always snickering along side some jocks. You could even consider them popular seeing as everyone knows who they are and talks to them but with the intentions of knowing when and where is the next party. Or to score some drugs......hence why the jocks are cool with them.
Even though you can't categorize some groups my high school isn't like a typical school. There is no nerd that gets picked on and bullied nor a queen bee that rules the school. Being a cheerleader doesn't make you popular and it isn't expected for football players to date the cheerleaders. Everyone just sticks to their respected group creating a perfect balance at the school.
That's why I like my school. Everyone is able to be who they want and not be judged by everyone else.
Where do I fit in?
I am just a normal girl, trying to survive my junior year. I am not "popular" and have a huge group of friends , in fact my group of friends consists of just 4 people.

So here I am at Kennedy High School, with ten minutes to spare before class starts. I promised my friend Sarah that I would study with her for our physics test and I am already late.I am rushing through the parking lot when I hear my phone ring. I look and see that it's a text and who it's from puts a smile on my face.
Distracted by my phone I don't hear my name being called from afar. Next thing I know I hear someone scream right next to my ear.
"BOO!"
"AHH!" I scream leading me to loose my balance and fall to the ground landing right into a puddle.
Oh no....no no no no no no. I instantly panic as I start to feel my jeans getting wet.
I quickly get up and look to see who in their right mind screams into people's ear. I look up to see no other than Evan.
"I. am. going. to. kill. you. Evan!"
"It's not my fault you scare easily" he says with a smirk looking down at me with his not so innocent face. I extend my arms out so that he can pull me up. "Shut up and help me up you jerk". Evan quickly grabs my hands and lifts me up still smirking at me.
Once I'm on my feet I quickly make sure that I didn't get my butt too wet from the puddle. But of course I have horrible luck and my pants are wet, making it look like I didn't make it to the restroom on time.
As I am patting the back of my pants Evan is just staring at me holding back his laugher. I narrow my eyes at him making him stop. "YOU!" I say angrily at him punching his chest. Obviously my punches don't cause much harm as Evan just stands there laughing at me.
