Chapter 3

Everyone meet——Sarah!

Finally! Food!! I walked into the cafeteria and quickly scanned which line was the shortest.

No shocker....the nacho line is full. Just like every other school in the universe our school lunches ate not the most tasteful.

The cafeteria has 4 lunch lines each with different menus so you can pick your poison for the day.
One line serves burgers everyday and surprisingly there is people who eat them everyday.

Another line serves pizza everyday, which honestly isn't too bad most of the time. They change the pizza every now and then from the normal triangle slices to the rectangle ones or sometimes to the small circle pizza.

There is also another line that served something different everyday which is a hit or miss. And finally there's the nacho line.

The nachos are the best choice out of all of them making the nacho line always the longest. I wanted some nachos but the line was just too long to wait considering we only have thirty minutes for lunch and the fact that everyone likes to cut in line makes it worse. I walk towards pizza line since its the shortest and quickly manage to make it to the table where all my friends are.

The cafeteria tables are round hold up to 8 people, but our friend groups consist of 5 so we have extra space.

I make my way towards my friends who already have their lunch "So what are you guys talking about?" I ask trying to squeeze my way into their conversation.

"How Mr.Gandy's test will leave you with a killer headache"says Kyle while popping a fry into his mouth. Those fries sure does look good. I reach over and steal a fry from Kyle's tray and quickly place it in my mouth.

"Fry stealer!" Kyle tries to swap my hand away as I reach over to get another fry. I manage my way around his hand and grab another fry but as it was making its way towards my mouth Kyle decides to knock it out of my hand resulting in the fry hitting Sarah's face.

That's when things got out of control.

It's like everything happened in slow motion. We all stare at the fry as it flies across the table and hits Sarah in the cheek and falling onto the table leaving a trail of ketchup on her cheek.

"OH MY GOSH!" You can hear the shock in her voice  processing what just happened. She's frozen for a couple seconds registering in her head what just happened. Slowly she turns and gives Kyle a death glare as she wiped the ketchup off her face.

We knew things were about to get crazy.

Next thing you know a food fight breaks out in our table. They picked a bad day to give raisins today because they were flying all across the table. Sarah grabs a pack of raisins and begins trowing them at Kyle who is failing miserably at blocking them. Somehow a raisin ends up hitting me in my nose, I look up to see where it came from and I see Kyle trying to look innocent. He did not just trow me a raisin! This means war. I grab some raisins that are on the table due to Sarah's throwing and manage to hit Kyle right in the eye.

Alright! That will show him not to throw wrinkly food at me.

My action of throwing the raisin at Kyle became like the spark to makes everyone at the table start to throw raisins at each other. The raisin fight was getting intense...you couln't even look up without a raisin hitting you. Laughter filled the table and we are all throwing raisins like maniacs. I'm surprised the teachers's haven't caught us yet.
