Mephiles was letting Perseus and Draven play with his tendrils, while he was busy with his search for his husband, him and Sonic weren't bad parents, sure Mephiles being the Lord of Darkness, he is dissent but he always makes time for his kids and Sonic, and Sonic being a vampire he didn't mind waking up during the day to play with the two boys. The hoglets were still two young to use there own powers but it was clear that the half vampires can eat actual food, unlike Sonic, as well as drink blood.

The demon pulls out the purple emerald using it to see if he can find the location of his mate, but he got nothing from the gem, which he expected, those hunters are rather smart when came to keeping creatures like him away from finding them.

The hoglets jump onto Mephiles back purring and giggling. "I thought I told you boys to be careful...when the emerald is around..." The demon said catching the emerald before it fell onto the floor.

"Sorry Dad, but you looked rather sad..." Perseus said.

"Is it because of Mom..." Draven asked.

Mephiles shakes his head, "I do miss your mother, but he's a tough vampire now, so I don't have a doubt that he'll come back to us"

Both boys smile and get off of Mephiles back before Perseus tags his brother and bolted off at high speed, Sonic's speed wasn't just a vampire thing he was naturally born with the speed, so it was only natural that his kids had the same speed. "Hey!!" Draven shouted bolting off after him.

The Demon only shakes his head, at least his kids are taking the kidnapping well, but then again they are only Ten so it's Natural for them to act like kids.

Shadow lets out a soft sigh as he was walking down to the holding cell that Sonic was in, with some blood pouches, he really didn't want to see Sonic, not after what he did to him a long time ago. He takes his card out and swipes it to open the door, when the door slid open he saw Sonic trying to pull the vent cover off of the wall.

"Hey Sonic..."

Sonic hisses at Shadow, his crimson eyes staring at Shadow with anger and hatred. "Calm down Vampire...I'm only here to feed you" Shadow stated as he sets the blood pouch down on the floor and slides it over to Sonic, as long as he had his UV light with him as well as a crucifix as will.

"I'm not hungry..." Sonic growls bearing his fangs.

Shadow lets out a sigh, "I know you don't trust me...but I still want you to have your strength..."

Sonic looks at Shadow, he reaches the pouch, he didn't know if he could trust Shadow, it's been thirty thousand years since Sonic had been exiled from his home village...but the way the darker hedgehog broke his heart, was something that he couldn't forget. The vampire only takes the blood and sinks his fangs into the pouch starting to suck the blood out of the pouch.

It was very unclear why Shadow gave the vampire the blood, unless the Agency had other plans for the azure vampire, Sonic felt pain and agony when he was forced through torture, nothing to bad that could put him to death, after all they want the vampire alive for further study. The blue hedgehog whimpers as he stumbles to stay on his feet, he knew how to fight but he didn't have the heart to hurt someone even if they are mortal, and deserve it, he only fights to protect himself or his family. To the frustration of the Agency.

Thanks to the blood his wounds started to slowly heal, "I...I need to get out of here..." Sonic said to himself, as he just curls up on the floor to get some sleep.
