Act II

Shigaraki began to uncover bits and pieces of Izuku Midoriya's life. It almost began to feel like a routine to him. Wakeup. Scroll through any news regarding the green-haired boy. Eat. Shift through his socials. Plan. Train. Eat. Shower. Look at his pictures. Play League of Legends. Sleep.

He knew Izuku had gotten into UA. What was interesting to him, was the fact that Izuku had been completely quirkless for 15 years. But how convenient to have his quirk emerge right before UA entrance exams. And his newfound relationship with All Might.

Shigaraki's upper lip curled in disgust, the too cocky, too brash, uncouth pro hero's smile mocking him through the screen. The symbol of justice, fighting to protect everyone, the same hero who left a kid by himself on the streets for years. Someone who didn't deserve to be idolized. All Might. What a completely, ironic name.

Leaning back in his chair, he took a deep breath, pulling Father out of his sweatshirt pocket. How could he make Izuku see that All Might was the biggest hypocrite and a worthless hero? It was clear that All Might clearly doted on Izuku. What better way to shake up All Might than to pay UA a visit? Perhaps greet Izuku then take him somewhere far where his beloved teacher can't reach him. How amusing.

Shigaraki stood up from his chair and made his way downstairs where he called for a meeting with the newly recruited villains. The plan was simple. Stage a surprise attack on UA to send a message of intimidation and threat that villains would always be there to counter these new students training to become pro heroes.

Days passed and the plan was ready to launch. Kurogiri warped multiple portals all with the same destination: UA.

Shigaraki stepped through the main portal, the hands of his family and Father completing his villain look. He almost laughed at the shock and terror on the UA students' faces. Did they really forget they lived in a society where villains could strike wherever they pleased? He singled out the one student he had been looking for. Izuku Midoriya. He looked even better in person, his green hair with dark undertones framing his round shaped face. Izuku's eyes were almost girlish, with long dark lashes paired with emerald eyes. Of course, Shigaraki saw the blatant terror on Midoriya's face, but also a mixture of determinism and cunning. So this inexperienced, young boy was formulating a plan while his classmates are panicking or charging straight into battle without a second thought. Interesting.

Shigaraki scratched his neck absentmindedly. "All Might, the symbol of peace... isn't here?" Shigaraki raised his hands. "I wonder if he'll come if we kill some kids."

Then the chaos started.

Shigaraki made a lunge for Izuku Midoriya and would've had the boy right in his grasp if it wasn't for that damn teacher. Eraserhead.

The teacher had knocked off Father from Shigaraki's face. Shigaraki was close to losing it. "I'm so sorry Father," Shigaraki whispered, picking up the hand gingerly and positioning it back on his face. He took  a deep breath. Eraserhead could be very annoying sometimes.

"Hm." Shigaraki muttered, running straight for the vigilante. As expected, his quirk was erased and Eraserhead used the moment to strike Shigaraki right in the solar plexus, but Shigaraki had waited for the right moment. As Eraserhead's eye contact broke briefly, Shigaraki got a hold of his elbow.

"There's a moment when your hair obscures your vision and blocks your eye contact... That's when you've finished an action." Shigaraki could feel his quirk returned to him again and felt the skin and muscle flake away beneath his fingers.

Eraserhead reacted quickly, jumping back and prepared himself for another attack. Shigaraki sighed. Eraserhead wasn't supposed to focus on him.

"By the way, I'm not the final boss." Shigaraki commented, leaving Eraserhead to the Nomu who was standing behind them. Shigaraki turned around to see Izuku Midoriya right there in the water before him. Convenient. But he needed to get rid of the other two brats next to him first. He reached his fingers out to disintegrate the frog-like looking girl's face, but rather than decaying, the girl stayed perfectly fine. Traumatized perhaps, but devoid of any injury.

Shigaraki sighed. Eraserhead. It didn't matter for now. Shigaraki changed tactics and reached out for Izuku Midoriya instead, yanking the boy out of the water, causing him to yelp.

"Kurogiri!" Shigaraki called out. A portal warped right in front of them and Shigaraki pulled the fussy green-head close to his chest and prepared to step through until-

"DETROIT SMASH!" Shigaraki could recognize that arrogant sounding voice anywhere. All Might. Perfect timing though. He watched as All Might continued to take down some of the villains Shigaraki had dispatched and some minor Nomus as well.

"All Might!" Izuku practically yelled with excitement and devotion. Disgusting.

"Young Midori-" All Might was about to say until he saw who was holding his beloved student. Tomura Shigaraki. Shigaraki matched one of All Might's signature smiles with one of his own disturbing and leering grins. Was it a figment of his imagination or did All Might's smile falter a little? His eyes light up in horror? Oh what fun this was.

"Perhaps I will kill you another day." Shigaraki promised. "But now, I'll have a little fun with your prized student." He felt Izuku's attempts to break free completely stop, as he stared up at Shigaraki with fright filled emerald eyes.

"SHIGARAKI DON'T YOU DARE LAY A HAND ON-" All Might roared, his eyes lighting up in anger.

"Goodbye!" Shigaraki cheerfully bid, stepping backwards into the portal.
