Love is just strange

Chapter 6

In the busy morning of Chennai  city, I started for my job hunt.  Preethi made breakfast for us. I scheduled my day , listed the places wherever there is a vacancy for job. Along with this I  was also  admiring, observing and enjoying the  the vibes of the capital city. The foods in the small hotels was too good than I expected. The clock struck 5 in a Church in my locality. But I didn't find a job yet. I was hell tired, and I definitely need a coffee. So it's coffee time!. Luckily, I spotted a coffee shop on my way. I entered ,and the place was calm  and good. I ordered my coffee and sat  on  a chair nearby the window. The view was good. I started to browse  regarding my job in my laptop. I liked the aroma of fresh coffee beans which was completely all over the place. It made me feel relaxed. I was having my coffee and lifted my head casually to witness the scene in front of me. There was a boy and a girl. And, they were school students. I got reminded of my school days and my friends. But what made shocked was that , the boy was asking the girl for a date! Come on man, what these kids know about dating ? These days love has lost its meaning!. I sighed and continue to do my work . But the girls reply made me lift my head up. She denied the proposal, that too in a decent way, no no, a more mature way indeed. I wished every student should have been like her. After they had their coffee , the boy stood up and went away . But, she caught me looking at her. Her eyes stared me like anything. I broke the  eye contact and watched onto my laptop screen. She then left.
