chapter 5.

"Zach stay away from her" mom said. "I'll try" I said and she sighed. "I know this is hard but it's for both of your safety" she said and I nodded.

We walked into the apartment building casey, claire, and two other girls where leaving.

"Hi zach" she said and moved her hair out of her face. "Hi" I said and smiled at her. "Hi" Claire said cheerfully. "Hi Claire" I said and she smiled. "How have you been?" Casey asked me. "Good" I lied. Mom cleared her throat at the top of the stairs.

"I'll see you around" I said with a weak smiled. "Bye zach" Claire said and waved good bye. I waved back and she smiled.

"Bye Casey" I said. "Bye zach" she said and walked away.

"She has a daughter?" mom asked me when we got in our apartment. "Yeah" I said. "This isn't good" she groaned to herself.

She's a pretty one Zach.

I groaned and closed my eyes. I prayed for them to go away.

I laid in my bed and put my headphones in and blasted music.

When are you going to see her again?

I took the headphones out.

They're not helping today. "I'm not going to see her again" I said even though I knew it was a lie.

You want to see her again don't you? But your afraid you'll hurt her.

"I won't hurt her. You will" I said and theu laughed.

We are you Zach.

"No your not" I said threw gritted teeth.

"He's a cutie" Jess said and I laughed. "Jess he's perfect" I sighed. "Does he live with his mother?" she asked and I nodded. "Not so perfect now huh?" she asked and raised her eyebrows.

"No I think he's perfect. I just moved out of mom and dads" I shrugged. "True but you had a kid" she said. "I guess. I still really like him" I said and smiled. "Casey you just met.

What if he's a murder?"
