Blaring alarm woke me sharp at 5:30am as I set it last night. I whined, smacking my phone to swipe it off and stayed laying there in bed, blinking and adjusting my eyes to the dark that was still outside

My uniform was still proudly hanging in front of my closet and my diploma leaned on wall on table. I checked phone, no notifications besides Instagram and message from local restaurant Jiwoon and I order with discount for certain meals

I sat up, rubbing my hair and checked on phone at what time I got bus so I can go on a time. Jiwoon left for a work and of course he didn't leave me water in pot for coffee

So while I waited for water to boil, I turned on TV and washed my face. Cup of coffee is gonna wake me soon, there was no doubt in that

Jiwoon and I had been living together ever since I ended high school and signed in police academy. He was kind enough to accept me "under his wing", although every time he praised himself like that, dad reminded him he was the one that bought him apartment when Jiwoon got promoted as director

I blew across the cup, waiting for the hot liquid to cool down when news came on, like every morning at 6am till 6:30am. It wasn't surprising to hear some shocking news at any time of the day, but then as a new police officer, I'll try to make it happen less

Lady on the chair behind tall desk holding papers greeted good morning and started with usual as every morning. I was ready to go to my room and change when one particular case caught my attention

"This morning it had been reported this early morning worldwide drug dealers Christopher Bang and Felix Lee had been caught in Ulsan. In their ward had been found around 200 kilograms of cocain, 150 kilograms of heroine and around the same amount of speed.

They owned plenty of the guns and other sorts of weapons who's worth is still to be calculated. Police officers are still investigating the case and drugs along with weapons who had been confiscated.

Bang and Lee had been taken to the station where they will be transferred to Seoul police station and there they will be waiting for their public judgment"

I shook my head and left to change. This chase for them had been going for about 4 years now, this guy dragged Felix with him and no one ever knew why, but everyone feared them. Whoever you asked, they all turned their heads away.

Every time police was a step close to catch Bang, he would be already two steps ahead of them but it seems now that they took three steps at him and Lee at front and caught them

"Serves them right"I smirked, zipping my jacket and turning off TV

It was already planned in my head to where I was heading to today and hopefully, if it all goes right, I'll start training just in two to three days in maximum

Necessary papers I needed were in file in my bag and I made my way to the elevator. Like every morning, around the different time though, our neighbor, not gonna lie, incredibly goddamn handsome Hyunjin, was already inside, toying with keys of his car when doors opened for me

"Morning Hayoon"he greeted with his usual smile
