Bella Pov
I blinked several times once I heard somone clearing their throat. Alice and I had been in a staring contest for at least 5 minutes. We didnt dare take our eyes off the other not wanting this moment to end. The others were whispering amongst themselves confirming that Alice and I were indeed mates. 'Dumb people interrupting my time with my mate'. I reluctantly looked away and looked at the one who disturbed us.
"I would like to make some introductions so you know who everyone is. My name is Carlisle this is my wife Esme. And these are our children Jasper, Edward, Emmet Rosalie, and Alice." He explained. I nodded letting him know I heard him but my eyes came round circle back to Alice. This time she was smiling at me. 'I wonder is she too feels the mating bond like I do.' I decided to be a proper gentle woman and introduce myself to Alice...I mean everyone.
Even though I was talking to the whole room my eyes never left Alices. "My name is Isabella Crow. But you can call me Bell." I added a wink at the end seeing if my flirting would be accepted.
"My name is Alice Cullen. But you can call me Ali." She spoke then added on a wink as well. 'God her voice was music to my ears. I'm so whipped and I don't even care'.
"What! I've been trying to call you that for months and now you let a stranger call you Ali? That's mean!" Emmet exclaimed with a pout. The bitchy blonde- I will never call her by her name- interjected soon after. "Read the room Emmet she's not a stranger anymore. They're mates. I guess my plan on killing you is over now. But that doesn't mean that if you hurt my little sister I won't drag you through hell myself and make sure you rot there, understood?" The last part was directed to me as I looked over at the blonde seeing her glaring daggers at me
I did NOT expect to get the shovel talk so early. But upon further inspection I understood that I am a foreigner and the blonde is protective of her family. I mean I did just fall from the sky and damaged their house. "I understand." I kept my words short and simple. With that the blonde raced off upstairs slamming a door behind her.
"Isabella would you mind explaining how you wound up in this situation? We will help in anyway we can. You're family now." Carlise said with a warm smile. I sighed wishing I didn't have to bring others into my mess but there was no other way around it. I took a seat in a empty loveseat in front of me and started explaining.
