Metal Sonic's Pov

I came out of recharge and was alerted by Dr. Eggman to meet him at the Eggmobile for our next attack. I knew I didn't have much of a choice; I'm still suffering from the one time I tried to rebel against him. Once I arrived, he reminded me of the plan, I would assume more so to gloat than to actually make sure I knew it, seeing as I have his plans downloaded in my head.

Regardless, we made our way to the center of town and started the plan. He fired off a couple of missiles, which soon brought out the heroes, including that blue pest. I despise him with all of my being. It's because of him that I have to be perfect. It's because of him that my creator is always trying to improve me. It's because of him that every time I fail, I'm beaten by my own creator.

As they all dodged the doctor's newest creation, I noticed something I hadn't before; the pink hedgehog, Amy I believe, was strangely absent. The doctor told me to find her and that he would message me with further instructions once I did. Thanks to all of the research we had done on them, I knew exactly where to start my search.

Soon enough, I reached the pink one's house. Thanks to a stealth upgrade, I was able to easily sneak inside, but was soon wondering if i had gone to the wrong location. The room I was in appeared to be a nursery for a baby girl. I decide to brush it off and keep looking. I soon found her in, I'm guessing, the living room, watching news footage of the battle. I silently messaged Eggman and was instructed to use the knockout gas he had equipped me with, but also was warned to be careful of how much I use.

I did as I was told and soon enough, she was out cold. When I came closer, I noticed her figure had changed and the medical reading my system gave me showed two heartbeats. Well, I guess that nursery makes a lot more sense now; she's pregnant, with that stupid speedsters child, I would bet. My thoughts were interrupted by instructions to bring her back to the base. As I carefully picked her up, I found myself continuously asking myself the same question.
