EVERYONE IS still in the van with Rick driving. Octavia was sat in the seat next to him in the front and it was silent until she broke it
"Hey, Rick?"She hesitantly asks as she slowly looks at him. She's nervous to ask but it's not like he'll kill her
"Yeah?"He politely replies with a soft smile, not looking away from the view infront of him in case he crashes
He's only just met Octavia hit he knows for a fact that is is going to become extremely important to him. She's the only one that's actually been nice to him out of all the people. Apart from Glenn of course
But he knows that Octavia is gonna be one of the people who he'd die for. He can just tell
"What was your son like?"
Rick seemed thrown back by the question cause no one seemed to care about it but answered anyways"He was...amazing"A soft chilled falls out of his mouth as he shakes his head, memories flooding back from before the outbreak
Octavia laughs at that" I bet he was fun to hang with"She knows the boy was young, mainly because of how Rick was talking about him every time he's mentioned
Rick nods"Oh trust me"He glanced at Octavia for a split second before looking back out the front window"He was. I've got a feeling thag you two would've got along just fine"He smiled at the thought of his son and Octavia meeting
Octavia laughs a and looks out her window"I'd love to meet him"She doesn't even know that the boy they are talking about is the one at camp who she already sees as a special person in her life
"You will"Rick nods confidently, not wanting to think about the possibility of him being dead "Someday"He then turns a corner to see a big group of people surrounding a red car
That's where scattered all over the place and there was a RV
Octavia stands up and looks out the window to see Glenn Infront of the van with his red car. They're back
She smiles and looks at Rick who was EXTREMELY nervous"Where here"SHe goes to open her door but stops and looks back at the man who wasn't moving"You coming?"
Rick nods slightly"Yeah, just-just gimme a sec"
Octavia smiled and walks out the van to see amy and Andrea hugging when she feels a little body grab her legs. She looks down to see Carl hugging her making her laugh and bend down to his level and hug him back"Hey, buddy"
