"So, what game do you guys wanna play now?" Mikey leaned back on his hands and grinned, clearly high on sugar. Our game night had been going well so far, with much competition from the others, and now it was time for the grand finale. My area of expertise.

"Do you guys wanna play spin the bottle?" I glanced around the room at the ones still awake. Draken, Mitsuya, and Pah had fallen asleep already but aside from them everyone else was still raring to go.

"Yeah! Let's play!" Mikey practically screamed as he ran to go get a bottle from somewhere.

"Maybe we should move to a different room and let the others sleep." Chifuyu stood where he was and helped Takemichi up. I sighed and got up as well.

"I got the bottle- Where are you guys going?"

"To the living room. We gotta let the others sleep,"

"Oh okay. Let's go!" Mikey sprinted to the living room with a mischievous grin on his face.

I glanced over at Chifuyu. Honestly, he was only here because this was his apartment, yet I could see how excluded he felt. We weren't being all that fair on him even though it was captain-vice captain game night. I should have tried harder to keep him included.

"Hurry up, Baji! We can't start without you!" Mikey called from the circle the guys had made. This game would get awkward fast, but that's the best part. For me, at least.

I hurriedly took a seat between Takemichi and Muto and we began the game.

"Who wants to go first?"

"I will!" Mikey was on the verge of a sugar crash. I didn't trust him.

He placed his hand on the bottle and spun it awkwardly until it landed on Peh. However, Mikey twisted it a little more so that it landed on Takemichi. I've always known him to be a cheater, but I guess I couldn't blame him. Who'd wanna kiss Peh anyway?

As they leaned in and the others burst out laughing, I noticed Chifuyu getting up and leaving the room. No one else noticed how uncomfortable he felt.

"Sorry guys, I'll be right back." I stood up slowly and flipped my hair over one shoulder before walking towards the door that Chifuyu had disappeared through.

"Wait! Baji, where are you going?"

"The bathroom. Be right back, Mikey. Keep playing without me." I motioned for Mikey to sit back down and then I entered the room that Chifuyu had gone into.

Inside, the room was dark. It appeared to be the kitchen but since I'd never been in here I didn't know where the light switch was.

Once my eyes had adjusted to the dark and the sound of laughing from the other room had been tuned out, I moved around slowly until I found Chifuyu hiding under the counter overhang, sniffling into his hands.

I think I blended into the darkness a little too well, because when I took a seat next to him he nearly had a heart attack.

"Baji!? What are you doing here?!" He hissed, hurriedly wiping his eyes with his sleeve.

"I didn't want you to be lonely. You volunteered to host this. It's unfair that you're getting left out." I laid my head in his lap and stared into his eyes as his humiliated grimace softened into a sad smile.

"You didn't have to do that. I'm fine." Feeling him stroking my hair was something new. Something in the way his voice caught in his throat made me think something was up.

"You don't sound fine. What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I'm fine, I swear,"

"No, you're not. You're hiding something Chifuyu." I sat up faster than intended and banged my head on the counter.
