Kokichis POV:
I got up to get ready to hang out with that shuichi, it was 5:00pm and I needed to be ready by 6:30pm so since I had time I took a shower and changed into some comfortable clothes. Once it was 6:30 I went out of my dorm to see tsumugi slightly looking out her door giving me a death stare, I ignored her and continued to walk to shuichis room.
"Hey kokichi!" he said right away once he opened the door, "Hi." I said in a more lower voice like usual. He opened the door more for me to come in and once I did he stuck his tongue out at tsumugi and closed the door.
"so uh, what you wanna do?" I said as soon as he closed the door, "I'm not sure.. I usually just watch anime and play video games with kaede, I don't know if you'd like that stuff tho" he game me a nervous looking smile."I don't really like anime much but I can try to watch it, I guess" I said making the last part more of a whisper. " alright! " shuichi said gathering all of his stuff.
Once shuichi shown me all different animes we could watch together we settled on something called danganronpa.. "Have you ever watched this kokichi?" "no, I suppose I haven't." I replied "well, I already watched them all so I don't really mind which season we watch" shuichi said warmingly." we can just start with the first one... If it's okay with you" I said sitting on the floor next to him, "alright!" he said.
Shuichi got up from where we were sitting on the floor and walked to the kitchen, probably just to get snacks, popcorn, drinks, etc i took a glance around the room, there was some posters on the walls with writing saying stuff about danganronpa seasons and some characters I've never seen before.
Once he got all the stuff he needed and shut all the lights off then we both got some blankets from his bed and sat on the couch to wach the show.
Four hours pasted and we were still watching the first season, believe it or not it was a pretty long show. Usually I would be asleep by 8pm but it was almost way past 8am by now so I was getting pretty sleepy...
"Uh.. Kokichi? Are you alright you look tired" shuichi said while pausing the show and turning towards me more, "yeah I'm good.. " I said with a yawn. "You sure? If you wanna go to your dorm, your free to go now." shuichi said with a sheepish smile looking a little tired.
"No it's alright, just put the show back on" I said reaching for the popcorn but the bowl was already empty just like the rest of the snack bowls, shuichi laughed a little by this and turned back to face the tv and put the show back on.
{TIME SKIP }
I woke up sleeping in an uncomfortable position covered in blankets on a couch that me and shuichi sat on last night while watching his danganronpa show. I remember finishing the first season at 12am and starting up the second one, but I most have fell asleep because I don't remember anything else that happened.
I got up to see if I was still at shuichis dorm or mine since all the dorms are identical to each other so it could still be my dorm, but it wasn't be used once I lookedup and turned my head to see behind the couch I seen shuichi in his bed sleeping with no blankets and his posters on his walls. He must have gave me all of his blankets last night.
I got up from the couch to wake up shuichi since there was still school today. once I got up I shock his arm but he didn't respond.. Hm I shock it some more. After a while I decided to just get a bucket of water and poured it over his head, kinda like those movies you see.
"A-AHHHH C-COLD!! COLD!? " shuichi said jumping out if bed. " oh um.. I'm sorry I didn't know it would be that cold" I said trying to calm him down. He started to look at me weirdly, did he forget I was here? "It's uh fine i guess" he said while basicly crying at this point.
He fully got up and walked up to the mirror, I looked at my phone and it was already 12am, lunch time.. School starts at 8am..shit I was late, I'm usually never late unless I'm not going to school in general for another reason, like I'm sick or something else that would make sense to skip school.
"Whats wrong?" shuichi said staring at me with a confused look. "Oh uh, I'm just normally never late" I said looking at him back "oh, well welcome to the party" he laughed at the confusion on my face once he said that, "we can just skip school and just say we were both sick" he said right after. "No way, us both being sick? That makes no sense no one would believe we both got sick."
"Alright smart ass, let's just say that you were sick because of maki and I just skipped again" he said with a smirk "alright.." I replied. "what? You miss school already?" I gave him a death stare and started walking to his door to leave.
He pulled my arm, "where are you going?" he said confused "Im going to my dorm?" I said " you can't leave yet, People are probably outside the dorms eating lunchor whatever people do at this hour. " he had a good point, if people seen me walking out of his dorm there going to this something else way far from the truth and it's going to ruin the fact that I'm supposed to be sick.
"Alright then, what now?" I said hoping to get an answer, he just gave me one of his stupid looks. "How would I know? Maybe we could eat something???" right, I forgot that we only just woke up and kinda haven't ate yet. " right, what do you have as lunch things?" he started laughing at me, what's with this guy and laughing right in my face? It was honestly rude.
"What's so funny? It's lunch time isn't it?" I said at this point to annoyed with him and just wanted to go to my own dorm. "We haven't ate breakfast silly!! We still need breakfast, it's the most important meal of the day I searched it up" he said smiling at me like I was stupid.
"Right, Whatever you want then." I said annoyed " alright! Just this way. " he started to walk towards his small kitchen and got most if the supplys he needed to make pancakes but stopped half way from getting all the stuff. " you alright shuichi?" I asked walking more closer to him. "I might not know how to cook.."
"Of course you don't" I pushed him over to the side and grabbed the rest of the things he needed, as I did he walked away from where I pushed him and went behind me to look from behind I'm assuming. I decided to cook slower then usually so it was kinda like I was teaching him how to cook it as he watched me make it.
Once I was done the pancakes I turned around and I noticed we were really, really close.. "Oh! Uh sorry" shuichi said and backed away after staring at each other awkwardly for a few seconds which felt like a few minutes at best.
"It's fine.." I said walking past him and putting the pancakes on the table and setting up all the plates and drinks. "Can I have two pancakes?" shuichi said as he took a seat at the table, "get it yourself" I said as I took my own plate off the table and put one if the pancakes on the plate and got the milk to drink with my pancake.
"Aww come on kichi" he said once I sat down next to him at the table "whos kichi?" I said honestly confused "it's your nickname stupid! Now give me one" "how about no." I said as he gave me a frown and got up to get his pancakes
