Charles starts to walk to the cute little park where he had met Mia. He walked with smugness and determination. He didn't know why he was smug and determined he just was. He walked with the bottle wrapped in a brown bag and behind his back. Charles was sad to admit it but he got lost, twice, on the way to the park so when he did get to the park and saw Mia sitting there waiting he felt kind of bad for taking so long. Charles walked to the table where Mia was sitting and set the bottle of jack down while leaning to kiss Mia. After they broke away Charles hopped onto the table to sit next to Mia and saw the bug crawling on Mia's lap and looking up at Mia's face Charles saw a small smile. "So what's in the bag?" Mia asked smiling, chuckling Charles pulled out the bottle of jack and placed it back on the table while unscrewing the half empty bottle. Mia just smiled and took the bottle and took a swig from it. They sat there on the table with the bottle passed from one another in silence for a little while. "The sun will set soon." Mia said nonchalantly before taking another drink, "Well I guess we will have to go to the swings then." Charles replied and Mia looked confused, "Why?" "So that we can watch the sunset." Charles was grinning at this point while he drank more from the bottle and finishing it off and jumping down from the table and taking Mia's hand to take both of them to sit in the swings. They sat there holding hands and looking at the slowly setting sun while slightly swinging, both of them slightly buzzed asking each other silly questions like what their favorite colour was or their least favorite song. The sun was dipping low and the last lights of day were colouring their faces a slight orange. "So I'm really curious about something," Charles said not looking from the setting sun "Okay shoot." "What's Mia short for?" Mia just smiled slightly,
"Michael."
