The Meeting

"Hello, mother,

How are you doing? Me personally, I'm doing fine, I guess. You know, work is hard sometimes. There's a lot of things I don't like to do but I'm forced to. I wouldn't want to wake up the bad side of my Lord. As sa simple subordinates, I'm not allowed to say anything but sometimes I really wish I could just leave and join you. It's hard to be far away from you and Lynna, I wish you could be there with me. I still have a lot work to do but I'll  still manage to fulfill everything I have to do. I don't know when I'll be back home, though. But I hope you and Lynna are doing okay. Tell her I have a gift for her when I'll come back.

You put the letter in an envelope and left your room to post it. When you open the door your eyes met your master's. Sometimes your forget your room was just in front of his.

"Good morning, my Lord."

You then noticed that you weren't wearing your mask as usual. For the first time he could see your face. You quickly put the letter in front you to hide you.

"I'm sorry you have to see me like this, my Lord." you quickly added.

"It's fine." he said still staring at you.

He then closed his eyes and turned around.

"You better hurry up for the meeting, don't be late." he ordered

You nodded and when he left you sighed. You were always kind of intimidated by Lord Scaramouche. He had this aura that made him really scary and intimidating. In his eyes, there was only anger and nothing more. But for some reason you could read in his stare that it was just a mask, and you always wanted to see who he really were inside. But as a subordinates, it wasn't really usual to be close to their master.

As attended, all the subordinates were rassembled in a room and Lord Scaramouche was in front of them ready to tell them what to do. He was eyeing the room as if he was looking for someone but all he could see was people with fatui masks. He quietly sighed and started talking.

"As concluded, two of you will join me to go to Liyue for some time, cause this... idiot, Childe needs backup. But some of you will stay in Inazuma, we still have works to do with delusion and the vision hunt decree. Any questions"

All of you  shook your heads in a negative answer.

"Fine, you may leave."

Everyone left except you, you were still confused, he didn't say who will go with him and you needed to know. You like to travel around the world, and you still haven't got the chance to see Liyue in a whole when you went there for the first time. Even if it was for work, you'll still have moments where you would be able to visit the region and know more about the different habit of Liyue.

"Excuse me, sir?"

"What?" said Lord Scaramouche, clearly bothered.

"I'm sorry, you haven't said who will come with you."

For some reason, your master had a smirk on his face.

"You wish to go with me?"

You started to agitate your hands and shook your head, embarassed.

"No, no, I mean yes, but I was just aksing, my Lord, I don't want to force you to make a choice!"

He crossed his arms and in just a second he switched back to his usual stare that shows bothersome. You were surprised to see how quickly he could switch emotions.

"If you really want to know, I was going to choose you anyway." he said in a nonchalant tone.

"O-Oh."

You tried so hard to not show any emotions, but you were internely sreaming in joy.

"W-Why, if I may ask, my Lord?"

He looked at you head to toe for a minute then turned his head and sighed.

"I suppose you're not as annoying as the others, so it will be less painful."

"A-Ah, I see um... thank you?"

"Is that all?" he then asked.

You nodded.

"Then leave.", he ordered.

You didn't grumbled and quickly left as he asked. You returned in your room and let you fall into your bed. You were happy you'll be going with Lord Scaramouche. You couldn't wait. You've been wanting to visit Liyue for so long and finally you will be able to. As you were thinking you noticed something. Lord Scaramouche has been acting wuite different lately. You didn't know what was the reason but you honestly didn't mind. It was better to see him like this than when he is in a bad mood and mad all the time. As you were lost in thoughts you quickly fell asleep.

When you woke up, you found a letter at your door. You got up and took it. It was from Lord Scaramouche. In the letter he indicated who was going to leave with him and when you'll be heading to Liyue. It was tomorrow at 9 a.m. You smiled it was sooner than you thought. You couldn't wait to be there.

Short one I'm sorry I wasn't really inspired for that one, but I hope the other ones will be longer hehe <3

ANYWAY, who you wished for Yae or Childe ? Personally I wished for Yae Miko cause I already had CHilde. I also wished for a weapon but got Childe's bow, which I already had lmao *clown*. So I don't know what to do with it lmao
