Chrissy POV:

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock the clock went. My plan sort of backfired. Instead of getting grossed out by me, I think they actually liked me more. Oh and the prank! Yeah that was a bad idea. Landed me straight into detention. Alone. Sometimes you gotta take one for the team, you know. I sighed. The rotten egg smell definitely worked, I meant it for Jenna but instead it got Damian so that wasn't a loss. He's going to be smelling that for a long time on himself. Bad news. So will I. With my stupid heightened senses, it's not going anywhere as long as Damian's in the school. So yeah I really didn't think it through. The really sucky part though, I've been watching that damn clock for ten minutes now and I swear it moved backwards.

Later on in the day, I rode my bike to Jacob's house. After pulling up, I walked straight into his garage. It was dark. Surprising especially since he told me to meet him here. Where is my little test subject?

"Shit." I cursed as I bumped into something "Jake? Where are you?" I asked looking for a light switch, with no luck. I keep bumping into things.

"Boo! Ah Fuck!" Someone snuck up on me. I screamed as I swung at my attacker. Life hack 101, always attack your attacker. Suddenly the lights came on, my hands went to my face covering my mouth in shock.

"Jake? Oh my gosh! I'm sorry you can't sneak up on me like that!" I apologized. How did he sneak up on me? He laid on the ground holding his cheek in pain. I knelt down beside him.

"You've got a mean right hook, what are you a boxer?!" I removed his hand from his cheek and saw a bruise the size of my fist on his left cheek. I grabbed his head and faced it so that I could see his cheek more clearer with the light.

"I'm so sorry, Jakey." I apologized once more. I helped him up and dragged him outside the garage and towards his house.

"What are you doing my dad will think I'm hurt and never let me leave!" He exclaimed trying to pull back I dragged him to his house by his arm with him digging his feet in the ground. "How are you so strong?" He questioned as I finished dragging him inside the house.

"Jacob!" Billy gasped once we were inside.

"I got into a fight with Cullen!" Jake lied quickly. I snorted before he glared at me. I nodded my head.

"Yeah, yup. That happened." I shook my head at Billy.

"Really? Because I saw her punch you through the window" Billy stated raising an eyebrow.

"I'll go get the first aid kit" Jake mumbled. While he walked away, Billy sent me a glare.

"You're supposed to be watching him not punching him." He spoke.

"He snuck up on me! And scared the crap out of me what do you expect?" I defended. He narrowed his eyes.

"For the time being, he's still human and you can't just go around punching people! And that's no excuse you have super hearing!" He scolded arms folded.

"I didn't hear him! I think he's close to phasing, I mean he's still a bucket full of sunshine but he's quiet, too quiet." I narrowed my eyes for dramatic effect. Billy was about to reply when I heard Jacob call out.

"Chrissy can you help me?" I looked at Billy first to which he nodded. I turned walking down the hall before he stopped me.

"Chrissy." Billy called. I walked back to him. He pointed his finger at me. "Be careful with them boys." Sam must've spoken to the elders. I nodded my head. I quickly walked to the small bathroom to see Jacob looking at the mirror frowning. "What is everyone gonna say? They can't find out I got hit by a girl! I'll be laughed at" he rambled on and on I had to shut him up.
