Chapter 57 ~Hide and Seek

Chrissy POV:

Okay breathe Chrissy breathe, you can handle this, just imagine Rob Schneider's voice telling you, that you can do it! Oh god I don't know if I can. Okay you can just breathe in and now breathe out. In and out. Shit he's here! I covered my mouth with my hand and watched through the small peep hole. I could feel my heart pounding hard against my chest. If it don't stop pounding loud then I'll be done for! With my other hand I rubbed it over my heart trying to calm it down. I froze hearing his footsteps coming closer and closer towards where I was at. I backed up slowly and carefully trying to remain calm and quiet. I felt arms wrap around me and a deep voice whisper in my ear.

"Gotcha." I jumped hearing his voice.

"You're a cheater!" I said frowning he laughed and pulled me out of the closet. "I'm serious! You cheated! Again!"

"No I didn't you're just bad at hiding plus I could hear your heart beating a mile away." He smirked I glared at him

"Shut up, Jared you suck!"

"Oh you love me!" Damn it I hate when he's right. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Have you found the rest of the boys?" I asked

"Fuck!" He said then ran out of Emily's room. I rolled my eyes and followed after him. We walked downstairs and looked as all the boys sat happily on the couch. "Well, looks like you're it again!"

"But I've been it like these times already!"

"Fine I'll be it!" Sam said I smiled while he covered his eyes and began counting. I waited for the guys to hide before I did. I ran upstairs and into a different closet. Man Jared's right I do suck at hiding. I frowned. I got out of the closet and ran into Emily's bathroom, no I can't hide here! I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen I glanced around, where can I hide? "Okay here I come!" I heard Sam's voice boom throigh the house. Fuck! I opened the cabinet and climbed in shutting it behind me. Okay calm down my heart now! I took in a deep breath, and imagined me as calm as a lazy cat.

"Damn it!" I heard Paul say from below me I frowned. I he in the bottom cabinet?

"I knew I heard someone run into here!"

"Whatever who else have you found?" I peeked through the small opening and looked down at them. Did I mention that I climbed into the too cabinet where all the cups are.

"No one else yet.. "

"Well the hell are you waiting for? Go look!"

"Okay I'm going!" And then it was silent for a while. I heard steps above me and froze they're right upstairs. "I found you!"

"Man you cheated!" I heard Jared protest before I heard Embry's laughter followed by loud footsteps.

"Damn it again! Where do you keep hiding?"

"I'm not telling." I chuckled and it was silent so I quickly covered my mouth with my hand.

"I have to find her! I heard her!" I then heard his footsteps come closer. I held my breath and tried calming my heart down. "I can hear her heart beating." Was all I heard before the cabinet doors next to me opened I jumped. Okay he can't find me! The doors slammed open and my eyes flew shut. But I didn't hear him brag about how he found me. I opened my eyes to see him frowning.

"Did you find her yet?" I heard the guys walk in.

"No but her heart beat is coming from around this area but she's not here." I frowned. What? I'm right here! Can he not see me right now? Only one way to find out if he's screwing with me. I slowly reached out my hand and poked him the cheek. He glared turning around. "Don't poke me!" He told the boys, my eyebrows raised up. I smirked. And carefully got out and started walking around to the other side of the kitchen.

"I'm over here!" I yelled then ran into the livingroom "now I'm here!"

"What?" Sam asked running into the living room where I was already on base. "How'd you?" I shrugged.

"Wow, she finally beat someone and won't be it!"

"Shut up!" I glared.
