Vote! Comment!

Chrissy POV:

"Vote for Jenna! For class president!" Some girl said handing me a button. I hate this time of year! There's so many things going on! I have her the button back and she looked at me like I'm stupid. "Vote for Jenna!" She thrust it back in my face.

"No! I'm not voting for that bitch." I said walking away. I started walking down the hall when I was pulled into a closet. The light turned on and I saw Scarlett.

"Hey." She said

"Hi." I said slowly watching her carefully, she might rape me. I don't know if she's straight or lesbian or you get my drift?

"So, I know that you hate this time of year because of all the elections but I need help with my campaign." She goes straight for the point doesn't she?

"Yeah, no" I said turning to the door to walk out.

"Wait don't you want to beat Jenna, together we can beat her!" She said. Okay that caught my attention. I slowly turned around and looked to see if she was serious. She was.

"Why are you asking me for help? Why not your brother?" She sighed

"Because he wouldn't help me, but if you help me, he'll help." She said

"So if I help you Embry will too? So I won't be bored helping by myself?" She rolled her eyes and nodded

"Yup so what do you say?" She asked

"Alright I'll help, but let me out of this closet before people think I'm banging someone and wait until the Bell rings before you come out please." She nodded

"No problem, Embry would kill me if the school thought we were together."

"Why would he kill you?" I asked

"You don't know?"

"Know what?"

"Oh I said way too much then." She said walking towards the door. I grabbed her arm.

"Scarlett, what are you talking about?"

"Do you like my brother?" She asked I furrowed my eyebrows

"That stays a secret on whether or not I do." I told her she shrugged and walked out before saying

"Be at my house after school to start on posters and stuff." She then walked out. What a bitch! I have to stay in here until the Bell rings!

After school I walked to the Call's house, when I got there I knocked on the door and waited. Tiffany opened the door and gave me a big smile.

"Oh Chrissy! How are you?" She asked

"I'm good is Scarlett here? I promised to help with her campaign." She frowned

"What campaign?"

"For class president, she told me to meet her here." I watched as a look of realization appeared on Tiffany's face.

"Oh of course, she's not here now but Embry is! Wait with him until she gets back." She practically pulled me inside and pushed me into Embry's room. He was sitting on his bed looking at a book. But when the door closed he looked up.

"Hey what are you doing here." He asked me I smiled

"I'm actually not so sure anymore." He frowned

So I spent time explaining everything that happened til when I got here.

"She could just be buying poster paper or something."

"Yeah but I would've guessed that she had already gotten poster paper."

"Yeah that's true, I wonder where she is?"

"What are you reading?" I asked snatching the book from his hands. "Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief" I read the title and looked at him.

"I know it's nerdy." He said I shook my head.

"No I've been wanting to but this book but I've been busy. This is really cool!" I told him he looked at me and smiled

"Keep it." I looked at him is he serious?

"No I can't"

"Yeah you can. I already read it." I smiled

"Really?"

"Really." He smiled

"Thank you!" I said hugging him. He smiled and hugged me back.

"No problem." We sat on his bed and talked it felt like five minutes but really it was over an hour. His door opened and his mom came inside.

"Christian are you staying for dinner?" She asked me I looked at Embry to see that he was looking at him expectantly.

"Um sure." I said her smile widened and she walked out. I frowned. Something's going on, his sister isn't here when we should be planning her campaign and his mom is oddly happy with me being here. She doesn't even mind that I'm a girl in his room, with the door closed. We could be doing anything, not that we would, but we could.
