Meanwhile, Sho's mother was left alone in her son's hospital room. Her eyes were on the door where she last saw her son being wheeled away. Random emotions began registering in her brain, and she had no idea where to start.
Her face remained emotionless as she blankly stared at the door. She tried to resume her work, but she seemed too distracted.
She stood up and paced aimlessly around the room, mumbling words like a madwoman. A lot was going through her head and she didn't have time to think about where she was going. Her eyes took a glimpse of the clock hanging on the other side of the room.
"Only five minutes?" She muttered with quivering lips "Five minutes, a lot can happen in five minutes. You do anything in five minutes, be anything in five minutes. You could cook instant noodles in five minutes, you could win a basketball game in five minutes..."
As she continued, her mumblings become more bizzare. Her pace quickened and so did her breathing.
"...you could be eaten by a lion in five minutes. You could be journeying to galaxies unknown in five minutes. You could--"
Thump!
She bumped her head on the shelf where the tv was hanging. She fell to the floor as tears began to flood down her cheeks, but it wasn't because she hit her head.
"You could... lose your only son...in five minutes!!!
