Tay and Ty were stretching while Jackson practice pitching. Tay was doing sit-ups the best she could with her arm when she saw Bill walking on the field and hit her brother's arm and pointed towards them. They both stood watching as Bill and Coach Maddox talked. They watch them both look at them then back at each other. A while later Cal and Tay went to the gym and tehy worked out before practice ended. After practice Ty called Maddie to come and pick them up and he put it on speaker.

"Hey, Ty, I am on my way." Maddie told them.

"Are you close?" He asked as Taylor fixed her duffel bag strap on her left shoulder and listened.

"Actually I..... I'm leaving now." Maddie said through the phone.

"Mom, practice ended 10 minutes ago." Tyler complained

"Oh, well, I'm just finishing up a work thing. Can you guys get a ride with Luke?" Maddie asked

"No he already left." Ty said with attitude.

"Okay, I'll be there in 15 minutes." Maddie told them.

"Mom!"

"Or how about you guys walk home?" Maddie suggested

"Fine we'll walk." Ty said as he hung up and Ty and Tay started there way down the sidewalk.

"Ty, come on." Tay said pushing her brother

"What." He asked pushing her back.

"You're actually stupid." Tay slapped him in the back of the head.

"Hey!" He said holding his head as a red truck pulled up beside them and window rolled down to reveal Cal.

"Would you guys like a ride home?" He asked

"Yes, since he had to complain so much we have to walk now." Tay grumbled. They crawed into the truck and Cal rolled his window back up and drove off.

"Left here." Tay told Cal

The rest of the ride was filled with Tay giving Cal direction and also her fighting with Ty. They pulled to the house and only had to wait a few minutes until there mom pulled up. The twins got out as Maddie did too.

"Hey, don't use up all the hot water. Kyle and Katie still need to take showers." Maddie told them as they walked up to the steps of the house.

"Okay." They both said then went in.

Tay took a quick shower, grabbed an apple, and started on Homework with Ty. Tay's favorite fruit was apples. Especially the green ones, they were so sweet and juicy. That's why they had a bowl of green apples on the counter and two bags of green apples in the cupboard. That was the one thing she had in common with Bill. Before everything happened, Bill would always pick them up from practice and always had a green apple ready for her. After everything happen Tay stopped eating them for a while, but then everyday she would see them sat on the counter and couldn't help herself. It sounds stupid. To stop eating something just because someone did something to you, but it affected her a lot more than she thought.

The next day

Tay and Ty would stood at Gabe's locker as he filled his book bag up.

"He shaves his beard with an ax, you know? Maybe if I did that, I could pitch in the majors too." Ty spoke.

"Hey, well, you gotta hit puberty first." Gabe as he zipped his bag.

"What are you talking about?" Ty laughed as Maddie walked up.

"Mom?" Both Tay and Ty question.

"What are you doing here." Ty asked

"Hey, Gabe."

"Hey."

"Can I talk to you guys." She asked

"Uh,yeah." Tay said as the walked around the corner.

"Hey, listen. Um, your dad and I just had a meeting with Coach Maddox." Maddie told them.

"Dads here, too?" Ty said as both the twins looked around

"Guys" Maddie said getting there attention again.

"What?" They both asked

"Look, we all think it would be best if your dad and I weren't both at your games. So.... We're gonna take turns, starting today. Your dad will be there. I won't." Maddie explained

"You're not gonna come see us play?" Tay asked as if she had just betrayed them.

"Guys..... look, your dad and I don't agree on much right now, but we agreed on this, okay? We love you guys, and we support you and we want to see you succeed. So, go out there, and kick Abbington's butt. Okay?" Maddie asked patting both there arms.

"Okay." Ty said quietly.

The game

"Just need one more like that." Coach Maddox called out to Ty.

Noreen cheered loudly over everyone. Ty pitched the ball and got a strike. Tay watched Ty try to ignore Noreen and Bill and focus on the game. Ty pitched again but it was a ball and so we're the other four as Noreen kept yelling.

"All this bad pitching can't be good for the baby." Jackson said rubbing his hoodie that was in his shirt.

"Jackson, shut up!" Tay yelled making all the people in the stands look at her.

"Jackson one more word out of you and your benches for the season." Cal told him and he sat back down.

Ty pitched and it was another ball and the player took his base. Cal called times and him and Tay ran out to  Ty. As Cal was talking to Ty, Tay saw Harlan walk over to Bill and say something to him and then Bill said something to Noreen and she left. Cal walked back to the dug out and Tay turned to Ty.

"Noreen's gone. Okay focus." Tay told Ty then they did there hand shake and she went back to the dug out.

The next day

Ty and Tay walked into their kitchen to find Cal and Maddie soaked in water. Cal had his arms on either side of Maddie as they stared at each other.

"What the..." Ty said as Cal quickly backed up. Tay smiled at the two holding in her laughter as Maddie looked over at them with wide eyes.

"Guys. Hi." Maddie said as Cal kept backing up, putting space between him and Maddie.

"Coach?" Ty said as Tay slowly made her way over to Maddie.

"Mom? You're wet." Tyler asked as Tay started laughing

"Yeah. Well, the sink, it busted. And I just- I called Coach Maddox to fix it, so....." Maddie told him.

"You what?" Ty asked in disbelief just as Tay reached Maddie but she stepped in the wrong place and slipped on the water on the ground. She fell on the ground, but turned her body in time to land on her left side and not her broken arm.

"Are you okay?" Cal was quick to rush back foward and help her up as she nodded her head.

"Fine, fine. I didn't land on my arm, you don't need to worry so much." Tay told him grabbing the towel off the counter and set it down in the water.

"Hey, he does need to worry, and you need to be more careful, you could have hurt your arm more, and instead of standing here, we could be heading back to the hospital.

"I'm gonna take a rain check on dinner. You guys have a good night. And Tay, be more careful, don't want another accident." Cal told them heading for the door.

"Okay." Maddie said

"Bye, Cal." Taylor waved as she walked around the counter and sat down.

"You know you still can't call me that, especially in school." Cal told her walking out the door.

Ty just shook his head and went to his room as Tay grabbed an apple. She ate her apple before helping Maddie clean up the rest of the water, then Maddie left for Dana Sue's for Margarita night.
