Robin Arellano was feared by many. But he was also so loved. He was Finney and Gwen's best friend. But little did he know that he had a secret admirer. And how badly she needed him to save her from herself.
       It was a normal day for you, and it was going pretty good, until 7th period when you had class with a random group of boys. 7th period there was a motivational speech about Self Harm, a man came and talked to different classes. You were freaking out, and as soon as he left you took a bathroom trip cause of your anxiety. Little did you know, one of the more popular girls followed you. She watched as you went into the stall. And watched as you self harmed. You were sobbing, and the girl felt really bad. She knocked on the door, asking to come in. You knew the game was up. You let her in and she gave you a sad smile. "Hi Y/N, I'm Melissa. I know my friends pick on you a bunch, but I just want you to know I'm here for you, ok?" You nod, and give her a hug."W-Wait Melissa??" "Yeah!?" You take a deep breathe in "can you please not tell anyone?" She shakes her head, "I won't tell anyone as long as you promise to stop." She leaves you to your own devices, and you clean your cuts. You walked back into 7th hour, smiling at Melissa as you went. She sent a smile back, and then internally groaned seeing that her friend, Damion saw the smiles. He was rather mean, especially to you. You slid in your seat, right in between Damion and his best friend Ralph. They both snickered, and you tried to ignore them. Then, when everyone's packing up, Damion sees your sleeve ride up just enough. He was shocked, yet now he had a reason to tease you even more. He doesn't know how much they are hurting you. The bell rings and you go to your locker. Pulling out your books and shoving them in your back pack, you zip it up and turn around. Right behind you, was Damion and Ralph. "Hey bitch." He pushed you against the lockers. "What is going on out here??" Your math teacher asked. Damion smiled and told her you tripped. He helped you up, and as soon as she was gone was dragging you through the back door and into the back outside of the school. Damion kicked you to the ground. "You think that hurts? Wait until my other friends come, then you'll be in a world of hurt. "Hey Y/N/N we know your secret, we know your secret." They chanted. "Why do you cut yourself, freak." Damion yelled Ralph sent a kick into your ribs. "Who the fuck cuts themselves on purpose?" Yelled Ralph. "Why the hell do you-" Robin was walking in the direction, and heard the yells of the boys. Now running in that direction, he sees 5+ boys kicking and stomping on you. Yelling about how you cut yourself. He run as fast as he could. " what the fuck is going on here?" Robin growled. Damion turned around. " nothin Arellano, just this little slut over her cuts herself! On purpose!" Him and his friends roared with laughter. "Get the fuck away from her." Ralph ran away. "Pussy." Damion muttered under his breath. Robin punched Damion straight in the nose, probably breaking it. The rest of the gang was gone, scared shitless of Robin. Damion was crying, like a little baby. " Ever talk or hurt her again and your dead, understand me?" Robin growled. Damion nodded and ran away. You were on the ground, looking up at Robin. When he got closer you backed up on the ground. "Hey it's ok. You don't have to be afraid of me. I'm here to help." You allowed him to get closer. You were grabbing your wrist, which the boys were scratching at. Blood was seeping through your shirt, and Robin grimaced. "Hey ya know what, how about you come over to my place, I can get you fixed up." You nod, your uncle wasn't home this week so you weren't expected to be home at a certain time. He helped you up, and helped you walk to his house, only a couple blocks over from the school. You guys got to his door step and he let you in. "Home sweet home. Hey also, my uncles gone for a while, no need to be stressed about an adult finding out." You nod, tears still wet on your cheeks. You weren't dirty, just bloody and bruised. Robin sat you on his bed, and left to find a first aid kit. You had loved Robin since 5th grade, and now you were sitting in his bed. He came back and sat next to you, med kit in hand. He gave you a small smile, " Can you please roll up your sleeves?" The tears had stopped momentarily, but now they came flooding back. He gave you a big hug and you gripped onto his orange tang-top. Tears were still pouring down your face when you pulled out of the hug. You allowed him to grab your hands and slowly pull up your sleeves. His eyes widened, mouth in a "o" shape. Blood was dripping from the open cuts, white and pink lines littered your skin. Some months old and others hours old. Unfortunately for you, almost every single scabbed cut was open and dripping blood. "Holy shit." He muttered under his breath. Grabbing a wash cloth soaked in peroxide, he slowly wiped the blood away. Then wrapping your arm with bandages. Finally he was done and you were staring at the floor. "Hey Y/N, listen. I know that you uh don't really know me. But I know you. I hate seeing you like this. I want to help you, I'm going to help you, ok? Well and.....I know this is horrible timing but...." He trailed off. You looked up, hopeful eyes "but what Robin?" He shook his head. " it's stupid, I don't want you to think I'm taking advantage of you. I don't want you to make any big decisions while your this upset." You grabbed his hand. "Please tell me." You gave him a supportive smile, "ok uh here it goes," he took a deep breath and continued "I-i... I think I love you." He was staring at the ground. " I have since 3rd grade when you covered for me on the playground." You sat there shocked, "Robin, you love me?" He looked up, "yeah.... But it's ok if you don't feel the same way because I don't want to pressure-"you grabbed his chin and kissed him on the lips. It lasted 5 seconds, quick and sweet. "I love you too."
