Charlie

I heard Sam scream loudly from outside causing all of us to freeze, it was piercing, travelling through the air quickly. Aiden's and Chris's eyes widened in fear as Max raced down the stairs, shouting.

"She went down the drainpipe!", He shouted quickly, running to the kitchen as Aiden and Chris followed him, they were all sprinting as quickly as they could, their breathes becoming hearse. I tried to get up yet my legs gave way, Aiden threw me on the ground so hard, it hurt to move, the stupid marble flooring. 

I could hear cars pulling up to the drive. Leo and Adam must be back, I didn't even realise that they had gone out. A few people were with them, security guards it seemed, all of them seemingly pissed off. When they saw me through the window on the floor, they rushed towards me, the security guards flinging the doors open. 

"What the hell happened?", Adam asked, well yelled. I groaned in pain as Leo tried to help me up but it caused my arm to fill with pain. I cursed in annoyance, realising Sam is probably out there right now in the cold.

"Sam", I said quickly, nodding towards the kitchen as Adam and Leo stared in shock, but soon had a look of pure anger.

"What happened.", Adam asked coldly, his security backing off slightly as his tone, even Leo seemed to be scared. I gulped to try and get some moisture in my mouth but there was nothing.

"Max chased Sam to throw her in the pool, but she managed to get away. I don't know how but we heard her screaming and they all ran towards the garden", I managed to choke out, causing Leo and Adam to snap their fingers at the same time, the security running towards the backdoor. 

"Do you think she went to the forest?", Leo asked Adam as he nodded, both of them taking off their suit jackets and heading up the stairs, both of them on the phone. They left me with some of their guards, both of them offering me an arm so they could help me up the stairs, I couldn't think about that right now, the pain in my arm was starting to kill me, I think I might have sprained it, even broken it. 

I really hope Sam is alright. As they helped me up to my room, I noticed a small brown arm sticking out from behind a curtain, it was moving slightly because of an open window above it, I asked one of the guys to pick it up as I rested on the other guys arm. 

It was Arktos. My heart sank to my chest. How was we supposed to find her in that forest?

It's been hours. The sun was starting to set now, my watch showed me it was nearly 8 at night, this was terrifying though kind of exciting, I have never been anywhere without Charlie there or an adult. I rather liked being on my own without anyone, I am rather content with my own company, I'm not usually one to feel lonely. 

Though I was starting to get cold, I was already cold before but now my body heat was turning off,, it's warmth dispersing from my body, I needed to get out of this forest, or try to make a fire, my brothers were surely looking for me right? 

Of course they would be Sam, they wouldn't just leave you out here without anyone to help, Charlie would be out here as well, he always knew how to find me. Though if Max was to find me, I would rather just freeze to death, I feel as though we will never become friends, and I was alright with that, me and Charlie will leave in a few months anyway when he turns 18. 

I didn't need to be friends with any of my brothers, I could ignore them for all I care, yet I knew Charlie would get the backlash from it, maybe they would try and split us up?
