Chapter 7

𝐏𝐨𝐯 [𝐘/𝐧]

"It was just a joke." Shinichiro said still laughing a bit. "Anyways... You wanted to get to know us before joining the gang, right?"

"Well, yeah." I mumbled.

"So how do you plan on doing that? Asking questions about our life or something?" Shinichiro asked.

"Nah, I just wanted to make sure y'all aren't assholes. But y'all seem okay." I spoke up and looked over to Shinichiro.

"Does that mean you'll join black dragons?" Shinichiro excitedly looked back at me.

"Depends on the position I'll have." I announced, half joking.

"Well, you can choose since we want to have you in the gang." Shinichiro proposed.

I looked at the sky while I was thinking about what to answer.

After a moment I looked back at Shinichiro and since I had no idea about the gangs structure I just spoke out loud what I thought.

"You'd be my leader if I join, so it's your decision what's best for me and the gang." I told him with a small smile on my face.

"Any division would be fine with you?"

"Yeah. Just tell me one."

After a few minutes had passed by, Shinichiro came to a decision and told us about it.

"Fine. You'll become the vice captain of special attack unit. So you'll be in Wakasa division and the vice captain of it."

What just happened? Did Shinichiro just gave me the position of a vice captain without even knowing me that well? What's going on inside that guy's head...?

"Are you really sure that I should have the position of a vice captain?"

"Well you're Takeomi sister. He does a great job as a vice leader so I think you'll do as well." Shinichiro responded.

I turned to Wakasa. Our eyes met again but this time I menaged to speak while staring into his lilac eyes.

"Do you... Accept me as the vice captain of your division?" I was so nervous speaking that out loud. What if he thinks I'm weird since his leader decided I'm the vice captain of the division already...?

"Yeah, that's ok with me." Wakasa shortly answered, his eyes still not leaving mine.

"Then it's all clarified now?" Shinichiro asked.

"Yes." All of us replied at the same time.

"Good I'll send y'all the location and time for the next big gang meeting soon." Shinichiro said. He already turned his back to us but stopped and faced us again.

"Sorry, [Y/n]. Would you mind giving me your phone number so I can send the information to you too?" Shinichiro questioned.

"Uhh, yeah sure!" I quickly mumbled as I took out my phone to gave him my number.

"I can't believe it." Benkei spoke up.

"Me too!" Takeomi replied.

Benkei, Takeomi and even Wakasa started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked, unsure if I did something wrong or anything.

"We would have never thought that Shinichiro would get the number of a girl someday." Wakasa quickly explained.

I somehow started giggling too after hearing that.

"Come on guys, it's not funny!" Shinichiro told us, but we didn't and he looked kinda mad for some reason which made us laugh even more.

"Y'all are so mean to me even though I'm y'alls leader!" He muttered. "I'm gonna go home now."

"See you, Shin." Takeomi yelled after him as he continued laughing.

After he left and we stopped joking about Shinichiro, Benkei spoke up.

"I'm gonna go home now too." as Benkei waved at us and left.

"Did you get here by your motorcycle?" Takeomi asked Wakasa.

"Nah, I didn't." He answered.

"Would you like to come to our place?" was the next thing Takeomi wanted to know from him.

"Well, okay." He said in a bored voice.

"Let's make our way there then!" Takeomi announced.

Takeomi started walking and we just followed him. We were walking next to each other not exchanging a single word. I hope we'd be be able to talk to each other like he does with his friends since I'm the vice captain of the division he leads. It could be pretty awkward if we can't even talk to each other.

After a while we arrived at the bus stop and waited for the bus which arrived there shortly after us. We got in there and sat down waiting until we would arrive at our bus stop.
