Chapter 11

𝐏𝐨𝐯 [𝐘/𝐧]

"Black dragon members! Today is a special meeting since I want to introduce the vice captain of special attack unit to y'all!" Shinichiro spoke up in a pretty loud voice since the gang was kinda big.

Wakasa signaled me to step next to Shin with his eyes so I stepped next to our leader.

"The vice captain of special attack unit, [Y/n] Akashi!" Shin told them.

Some of the gang members began whispering and some exchanged strange looks.

Shinichiro must have noticed because he started to talk again.

"I know she's the first female gang member but she's strong and I'm sure she is able to be a vice captain of a division. She already got experience with gangs. Please respect my decision everyone and treat her well." Shin said.

The gang members stopped the whispering and exchanging of that weird looks and it became quiet again.

"Say something to them too, [Y/n]." Shinichiro whispered in my ear.

"I'll try my best if y'all let me!" I announced in a loud voice.

I looked over to Wakasa as he gave me a smile and a nod. I smiled back at him and our eyes met for a moment until I remembered we are in the middle of a gang meeting right now so I looked back infront of me where the gang members were standing.

It seemed like they all respected Shins decision.

"Are there any questions? If not we are gonna end the gang meeting for today." Shinichiro asked.

"I want to know something!" A guy who stood right infront of us spoke up.

"Sure, go ahead." Shin replied.

"You said '[Y/n] Akashi' earlier, is she related to Takeomi?"

"Yes, she's his little sister." Shin answered his question.

The guy just nodded at him and became quiet again.

"So, I guess there aren't any more questions for now... Then this meeting is over for today!" Shin explained. "See y'all at the next gang meeting!"

The gang became a bit more noisy and a lot of them started to leave the parking lot. Benkei and Shin left as well after telling me and Wakasa goodbye.

I went back besides Wakasa and he gave me a small smile.

"Proud to be the official vice captain of my division now?" Wakasa asked as he grinned at me.

"Well, yeah!" I replied.

Our eyes met again and my heart started to beat a little bit faster. What is that feeling? Am I just nervous again? Well, yes I'm nervous right now....But why do I only have that kind of feeling when I'm around him? Why am I more nervous around him than being around anyone else? What if I'm just imagining that my heart beats faster? It must be my nervousness from talking infront of a whole gang!

"So..." Wakasa began. "Since you are the vice captain of my division now could I maybe have your phone number? We won't always be able to clarify things at a gang meeting."

"Sure!" I quickly answered him. I took out my phone and he entered his number.

"Just send me a message whenever you want. Oh, but maybe already send me a message now so I have your number too." He told me.

"Okay!" I said as I typed a message and sent it to him.

He got a notification and he opened it.

𝙃𝙚𝙮, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 [𝙔/𝙣]!

"Thank you!" Wakasa thanked me as he put his phone in his pocket.

"No problem! But I should go home now since I want to ask Takeomi about Senju." I announced.

"Yeah, sure." Wakasa replied. "See you next gang meeting then...if you don't plan on meeting as friends."

"Are you asking me to be friends with you right now?" I asked him.

"Well...yeah. If you want to then let's be friends." Wakasa answered.

I got excited over the fact he wanted to be friends with me. So that means I would probably spend time with him not just in the gang! But why do I get that excited over something like this...?

"Then we're friends now!" I told him with a smile on my face, looking right into his eyes. His eyes looking back into mine and I could see a small smile forming on his face as well.

After a while of staring into each other's eyes I decided to break the eye contact and the silence since I was a bit worried about Takeomi and Senju.

"I should leave now... I wanna know if Takeomi is okay and if Senju already went to our parents place." I mumbled.

"Sure, want me to drive you home?" Wakasa asked me.

"That would be great if it doesn't cause any problems!"

"Okay, but you need to hold on to me tight,I drive faster than Takeomi." He pointed at his motorcycle. "I don't want you to fall down."

"Sure thing!" I replied. Takeomi drove me to school a few times. He must have mentioned that when he spent time with the gang.

He sat down on his motorcycle. I sat down right behind him. He handed me a helmet and put on another helmet himself. I didn't really know what he meant by 'hold on to him tight'. I didn't put my hands anywhere and waited for him to tell me exactly where he wanted me to hold on to him.

"You can just put your hands on my shoulders or anywhere else you'd like, I don't really care where...Just don't fall down." He explained.

I did as he said and put my hands on his shoulders.

He drove off and it was faster than expected. Takeomi really did drive slower than him. I was surprised about the sudden speed and my hands didn't hold on to his shoulders anymore and I found myself hugging him from behind... It just happened and I didn't even know what I was doing... I felt my face turning red since I held on to him so tight.

We arrived right before the building me and Takeomi live in.

"We're here." Wakasa mumbled as he looked over his shoulder.

I stopped hugging him and looked at him.

"Sorry for the sudden hug...."

"Well, I told you to hold on to me tight." He replied and he grinned at me.

I took off the helmet, handed it to him and smiled at him.

"Thank you for driving me home!" I felt myself blushing a bit because I remembered me hugging him from behind... Did I even think about what I was doing!?

"No problem." A small smile formed on his face and he waved at me. "See you! [Y/n]!"

"See you, Wakasa!" I waved back at him and watched him drive away.

---------------------------------------------------------Sorry for not posting anything yesterday! But this chapter is a bit longer and I already have ideas for the next chapter! :D
