Chapter 13 (Last)

5 Years later...

"Ahil don't run beta or you will get hurt" Mariam called her 3 years old son

"Let him be Mariam" Asma said lovingly looking at her grandson

"You know he is looking exactly like Haris" Asma said excitedly  and Mariam smiled looking at her

"Yes Ami you always say that" Mariam said and chuckled

"Babaaa" Ahil shouted and ran towards the door where Haris just entered

Haris sat on his knees and hugged his son

"Baba you said chachoo was coming today where is he?" Ahil asked looking at Haris with hopeful eyes

Haris smiled and decided to mess with Ahil a little

"Sorry champ, you Chachoo is busy so he isn't coming" as soon as he said that Ahil's face was drowned with sadness

"So when will he come?" Ahil asked

"Looking for me champ?" A voice shouted feom behind Haris making Ahil jump in happiness

Hassan was standing there with all his glory looking handsome then ever

Ahil ran towards him and hugged him as he was going to disappear from his eyes

"Chachoo you know baba said you are not coming" Ahil pouted and complained about Haris

"Really? Should we beat him up?" Hassan asked while Ahil laughed and nodded

Hassan picked Ahil in his arms and started running behind Haris who was now running from his brother and son

"Ami save me from these monsters" Haris said and tried to hide behind Asma

"No dadi don't hide him" Ahil shouted and Asma laughed while pushing Haris towards them

They were playing and running here and there making everyone smile looking at the three of them

After playing it was time to eat dinner so Hassan and Haris went to their rooms while Asma took Ahil and started having their dinner with Ahmed

Mariam went to her room to call Haris

She entered the room and Haris was nowhere she thought he's in the washroom and just when she was about to knock on the door she heard a door locking

She looked back and saw Haris near the door

"So you finally remembered that your husband is home after a tiring day" Haris said and took steps toward Mariam

"What do you mean?" Mariam asked confused

" i mean you have forgotten that you have a husband" Haris said and pouted making Mariam smile

"How can i forget about my husband who sometimes acts like a child" Mariam said and laughed looking at Haris making faces at her

"I'm upset with you" Haris said with fake sadness in his voice

"And what should i do to make you happy?" Mariam asked smiling

Haris pointed at his cheek and Mariam knew what he meant so she leaned closer and kissed him on his cheek

"Done! Are you happy now?" Mariam asked while he shooked his head and pointed at the other cheek

She leaned again and kissed his other cheek

"Now?" She asked and Haris smiled nodding

"Okay now come downstairs to have dinner" Mariam said and was about to go when Haris grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him

He kissed her forehead and left her

"Now you can go" he said and showed his perfect white teeth Mariam giggled and started going

"I love you Mrs Haris" Haris said and winked at her

"I love you too Mr Haris" Mariam replied and finally got out of the room

They all were happy in their life now Mariam and Haris got eachother and also Ahil in their life

Hassan also found the love of his life and married her to start a family

Ahmed and Asma were Happy looking at their sons living their life Happily

There were ups and downs in their life but they always had faith in their Allah and always passed his tests

Their lives were not perfect but they got to know that if you have faith in Allah everything will fall in its place

They always supported eachother and became eachother's light in the dark
