Chapter 1: Hook, line, Fucking Sinker Pt.1

Ruby's POV

I and my team wait in the elevator, we were called in by Ozpin for an assignment. How exciting!

There were rumors of what happened earlier after a large bright light was seen south of Beacon. So it must be something about that.

As the elevator dings, we enter and see Ozpin waiting for us, sipping his coffee (possibly lased on Crack Cocaine) as he sees us. "Team RWBY, So glad you got here on time for the first time."

He says sarcastically as I noticed General Ironwood and Weiss's sister here as well.

"General, please tell these girls what they are going into."

Ozpin says to Ironwood as he nods, opening a hologram as a voice was heard...multiple

"Comms Regained, Status."

"We lost contact with anything Outside, GPS, Satellites, You name it."

"This is Shadow 0-1 to Bravo 6 What is your status? Over."

"This is Bravo 6---[STATIC]."

It stops there as a hologram of a large base appears. "We have intercepted this unknown structure, believe to look like an Airbase of sorts. You are to make first contact with these people and bring them to me."

Ironwood says as a confused Weiss asks. "Where did that come from?" Her sister responds, crossing her arms. "Classified Information, you are to make contact with them and not ask questions, little sis."

She says coldly as I noticed three flags in the hologram. One prominent and constant was an odd flag with...a bird in the middle? The second was a flag with stripes and stars which was in low numbers, and the last one...looked like the Ace of spades with a Chest piece on it.

(Y/N)'s POV

I quietly watch as Ghost patches my arm up Ghost finishes-

(Locus, I read the discord, I know what you fucking did

Locus: Evil Smile

Locus: The damage has been done, You can't stop me. YOU CAN NOT STOP DESTINY-

"All clear, You Broken Graves?"

Ghost asks me as I shook my head, grabbing my rifle from the tree as our comms light Up.

"This is Shadow One to Shadow Two and Bravo Four, do you copy? Over." I hear the voice of my dad as Ghost responds. "This is Bravo Four to Shadow One, we read you. Your son is injured but I think he can carry on, what's the status at the base? Over."

Ghost asks as there was a pause before another response was heard. "This is Shadow One, Base is on Backup Generators, still attempting to contact anyone outside. I'm boarding the Gunship to assist with your Mission, Goodluck Ghost...Stay Safe (Y/N). Graves out."

Ghost looks at me as I place on my headgear once again. "What the fuck was that?" I ask Ghost as Ghost looked around. "I don't know, but we need to move and find out where we are." Ghost says as I nod, we begin to move forward again, both of us looking around carefully.

We suddenly heard a branch snap nearby and we both froze, aiming our weapons in the direction of the noise as Ghost motioned to move forward as we hear voices nearby.

"I'm saying, a giant area like that appearing out of nowhere isn't normal Dunce!"

"Come on Weiss, it could be a dark wizard who summoned it!"

I glance at Ghost as Ghost motions to move forward. We carefully moved, slowly crouching behind a bush as we speak with our weapons raised to see...Four teenagers wearing odd clothing and weird weapons.

"What do you think Blake?"

"...It could be an illusion."

Suddenly we spot two of those black wolves sneaking up behind the four, none of them noticing as I quickly shift my aim.

"...Engage." Ghost quickly says as I squeezed the trigger four times four rounds hit one of the wolves, three in the head, four in the neck, the wolf fell dead as Ghost fired two rounds, hitting directly the eye as it also falls dead, the four were startled by the gunshots as we quickly got out of the bushes with our weapons raised.

"Dropped your weapons now!"

Ghost Yells as she-

Ghost yells as she Aims her rifle, the four quickly preparing their weapons as I kept aim. "Drop it now, those toys ain't gonna do shit with 5.56 Kid," I told red riding hood as she tilts her head. "You sound like a kid too!"

Suddenly growls were heard all around us we quickly look around to see packs of them starting to surround us. I quickly change my aim along with the four girls as we were now surrounded. "We can take them!" The young girl says as I motherfuckerly turn at her. "No, we can't!" I told her as a Ghost quickly spots a nearby waterfall, suddenly remembering what she did a while back when they first arrived in Mexico.

"...ON ME!" Ghost yells as she starts running, gunning down any of the wolves in her way as I simply followed. The four girls are confused and forced to follow. "Ghost what the fuck are you doing?!" I ask her as she screams "Look Up!" As I look up to see the AC-130 Arriving. "This is Shadow One, you got multiple Whatever the fuck those are inbound! Were raining hell! ETA Ten Seconds!" My comms lit up as I started running faster. I noticed the girl in the red trip as I quickly turn and grabbed her, quickly picking her up. "COME ON!"

"Jump!" Ghost yells as she Jumps off the small waterfall I follow, followed by the other girls. As soon we jumped, explosions ran out as back at the top of the waterfall, explosions began to erupt, Grimm instantly being vaporized, the Miniguns on the Gunship tearing the Grimm apart.
