Chapter 3: The Shadows

Location: The Base, Somewhere in Emerald Forest
(Y/N)'s POV

As I Exit the Black Hawk along with my Father, ghost, and the four girls.

Alejandro can be seen approaching us as he raises his hand toward me. "Glad you could make it amigo." He says as I shook it, he then turned to the four girls.

"Welcome to Los Vaqueros, who are you four?" Alejandro Asks as I turn to the four girls again as placed my hands on my Battle belt. "R-Right, My name is Ruby, this is Yang, Blake, and Weiss! We're a team-" "Please don't." Weiss cuts off Ruby as I chuckle.

Meanwhile...

A group of Shadows on patrol can be seen walking across the unknown woods with their rifles ready. As the lead shadow looks around, he hears multiple children crying and he quickly raises his fist. They all quickly crouch as the Shadow moves a bush.

There he sees multiple children crying while men in white armor held them back as more of these white-armored inviduvuals were seen torturing the assumed parents in horrible ways.

The shadow processed what he was seeing for a moment before motioning for his men to spread out. As they began to spread out, the Lead Shadow aims his rifle at the assumed Leader of the group who was about to assault one of the women. "Shut up whore, you will never get the chance, to tell the truth about Atlas!" He yells as the woman stares hopelessly as she was stripped down to nothing.

The lead shadow slowly shouldered his rifle and aimed toward the back of his head. As that happened, the other shadows were seen doing the same, picking their targets as they stayed quiet but made sure to not show any movement, slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

As the shadows confirmed they picked their targets by forming fists and tapping their helmet. The Lead shadow motioned to fire in ten seconds as he slowly turned off the safety of his rifle. As the women cried in pain, the men seen beaten horribly and we were on the brink of death.

As the Ten-second mark hit, the Shadow quickly squeezed the trigger and they all fall to the ground at the same time with a bullet hole in their head.

As the women were seen either rushing to their children, and their husbands, or trying to cover themselves up, the shadow motioned them to move as they rushed out of the shadows, making sure there weren't any stragglers.

"Clear." The Lead shadow said as he reached for his comms. "Base, this is Night 1-1, requesting Medevac we got multiple Non-Combatants injured, counting 12 Non Combatants, 17 EKIA, and 6 Children. Over." The lead shadow says as one of the shadows were seen looking at the state of the civilians, covering his mouth with his gloved hand as the Lead Shadow noticed him.

"Something wrong Rookie?" He asks as the Shadow quickly removed his hand from his mouth and shooked his head as the Lead Shadow approached one of the women who was holding her child tightly as he crouched down on her level. "Who are they and what did they want with you?" He asks as the Woman sniffs a bit

"W-Were part of the Resistance A-Against Atlas and the Huntsmen...W-We discovered something...horrible...The truth...those w-Were atlestian Guards...they we're gonna..." She tried to continue as the Shadow pauses for a moment.

"Truth about what?" The shadow asks as the Women was still in shocked too talk. "...Alright, Doc!"

(Short chapter I know, I just need to watch RWBY Again since I forgot. Hope my kids like watching it too, im sure they'll enjoy it, adios.)
