He lit his cigarette and sip some coffee.
His head his pounding with a bad migraine.
He hasn't been sleeping well.
He hasn't been eating as well too.
He drownes his time to work only. There is no time for love. He broke his just recently. Casual affairs he can handle, but he can't be too deep. Not now, or maybe never.
Its been a month since I last saw her....

Fred has been thinking about her. He wasn't sure how it ended. He doesn't know where to start.

Flashback
"Hey handsome, hope I'm not interrupting" Andrea poked him during his practice for the upcoming intercollege debate competition. Technically she came right on time. Everybody is burnt out. He turned and saw her bringing his favorite snack- French fries. Surprised by her visit he asked for a time out from his colleagues.
"Nope were going on break also..." He exclaimed to his team. He was giving the I-NEED-A-BREAK-LOOK to them. They teased him and left him.
"Hey! I never knew you were a fan of arguments?" He walked towards her and smiled.
"Well, I don't want any arguments but everyone has their own opinions...." She gave him his snack. "A little something from a great teamwork for our paper, we ACED IT!" she said.
His heart was racing. He just ate and pretended he wasn't nervous.
She kissed me last night... Should I say ' hey, I really like you too?'
He keeps on keeping his cool. His imagination was going wild of what could happen next if they become an OFFICIAL COUPLE.
"Look, Andrea, thanks for the fries...thanks for the time...." He put down what he was eating. Took her hand. Gazed at her eyes. This was right btime. He felt that he need to let her know.
" I like you. You kissed me last night. And I was scared to ask you out..." He stopped when he felt the response she gave. She held his hands leaned forward and kissed him in the lips.
She kissed me.
"Look. I like you too... It would be irrational if I just kissed you out of nowhere?"
She said and smiled at him.
He was the happiest man at that moment. He cannot contain his smile and he just can't explain why he likes her. He just knows the affirmation that they are on both the same page.

After that semester Fred stopped schooling to help her mom out. He got a full time job working as a call center agent. That never stopped their relationship. She would still reconsider the fact that he has been working the whole night and she is studying.
Nevertheless, it was the best two years of my life.
They say that true love hurts, well this could almost kill me..

Our love was fading slowly.
Andrea remember sneaking out late nights to accompany him during his lunch break. Sometimes she cooks food for him so that he can save some cash instead. But she noticed that he was changing. He started smoking and drinking. She understood that it was a lifestyle he picked up from his job. She still loved him. Sometimes he tend to take her for granted. He becomes impatient with the smallest arguments. He keeps on checking his phone every time they are together.
I did everything. Why am I still staying here? What happened to us?
She constantly asks herself.
Andrea haven't noticed the time. It was past 3 in the afternoon. She finally realized that she needs to go and eat.
