Felix POV

"Get the get the hell up! You better not come back till I send a maid for you!" My Father yelled, pulling me out of my sleep as I hurriedly slipped out of bed and began getting ready for my first day of training.
"Y-yes Sir!" I replied and soon my angered father left my room, leaving me to myself once more.
I hate that old man, I'd rather be killed out in war instead of come back to him of all people.

"You're early kid." Seungmin chuckled as he placed his arm across my shoulder.
"Hey Seungmin, and you know why so don't be laughing." I casually spoke to the male who would ride into battle with me in the coming time.
War wasn't that far away, not at all.
"Are the others already in there?" I asked and Seungmin and I walked side by side to the training area.
"Yep, I was taking a piss and I was about to go back inside till I saw you, why's your father making you come out so early anyways Lix?" I sighed at the thought of the conversation my parents and I had the night before.
"He says I'm not strong enough." I mumbled, my cheeks heating up in embarrassment.
"We'll make you stronger then Lix." Seungmin smiled happily as he lead me to the training area where Jisung and Jeongin were waiting for my arrival.

Chan POV

"I thought there was one other who would ride into battle with me." I stated as I followed Changbin and Hyunjin into the large room that had a wide variety of weapons on one wall and armor on the other.
"Yeah, that's Minho but he's always late." Hyunjin chuckled as he went to pick up a spear.
"You know he's always feeding the stray cats." Changbin scoffed as he selected a weapon of his choice as well.
"Is their any weapons that you prefer Si- Chan?" Hyunjin questioned as he slipped on a chest plate.
"Normally the long sword, I've been training with those for as long as I could remember." I smiled slightly at the memories from years back with my old trainer, who sadly died.
"Ah, I see well we have some from when your father used to send other knights here from the neighboring kingdoms." Hyunjin explained as he opened another small room, much like a closet but larger, and let me scan over the display of barley used weapons.
"Hyunjin! Changbin! You will never guess what I found out!" Another unknown voice bounced off the walls of the arena.
"Minho, you're very late." Changbin scoffed as he backhanded the male.
"Yes yes, I'm sorry it's jus- oh shit, Um Sir...my name is Lee Minho, I'm very sorry for the disrespect I just displayed." Minho bowed but like before I just pulled the male up.
"No need for that, we're on the same level here Minho. Just call me Chan." Minho only nodded with a small smiled displaying itself self on the male's lips.
"Now please, tell us what you found out." I said as Hyunjin and Changbin stood next to me.
"On my way here I overheard your father speaking to your mother in the garden about the neighboring Prince, Lee Felix." Minho spoke quickly.
"Oh yeah, that kid." I knew the male from past trades, our fathers meeting up for business. He was cute.
"Well apparently he's gonna be on the front line for this war, and his father won't."
What!?
"But that kid could never survive the front lines!" Hyunjin gasped at Minho's words.
"Exactly but it's ridiculous how both you and him are on the front line even though you didn't start this mess." Minho crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"My father claims that he's too old to fight, I don't know about Felix's father though, last time I saw him he was much younger than mine."
"Who knows, I just feel bad for the kid." Hyunjin mumbled as he fumbled with the chain chest plate he wore.
"We don't have time to worry about our enemies. This is war and we will win." My voice rang in the other males' ears.
No matter the circumstances.
