HEARTLESS

Days went by as the two princes trained vigorously. Chan getting stronger by each weight the male lifted or each slash of his sword, Felix gaining muscle and slowly gaining praises from his father. Both males getting ready for the day they would sit upon their armored horses and charge head-on towards each other into battle.

Felix POV

"God...I'm stressing." I sighed as I sat next to Jeongin under a tree, taking a break.
Hopefully Father won't come to see what I'm doing.
"No need Lix, you're strong enough to win this." Jeongin said with his mouth half full of apple slices.
"Don't talk with your mouth open." I chuckled as Seungmin spoke before flicking the younger.
"Ow! Meanie!" Jeongin whines as Jisung and Seungmin sit down under the tree beside me.
"Oh you baby." Seungmin laughed as Jeongin huffed before crossing his arms.
Are they really the people who will fight with me?
"Let's get back to training, I don't wanna be caught by that bastard of a father." I mumbled, standing up and brushing off my pants.
"Agreed." Jisung laughed as he latched his arm with mine and the four of us walked off towards the training area once again.

Chan POV

"I'll demolish every soldier in that army." I chuckled as I watch my muscles flex each time I brought the weight up.
"Not just you, all of us." Minho laughed before Hyunjin pushed him and grumbled something about me still being a prince.
"Yeah yeah, whatever you say cat boy, just let me dream." I laughed at Minho's red ears.
"It won't be a dream, we will walk that empty battle field next week right after we kill every one of their soldiers." Changbin mumbled as he lifted weights next to me.
"I'll show my father that I could be better than him, they barely won due to him trying to retreat like a coward." I referred to the war that took place multiple years ago as my father rode on the front line.
"We won't have to even think about it, that kid is weak." Changbin laughed at Hyunjin's and Minho's faces that held a small bit of sadness behind their tough exterior.
"The kid was pretty cool a few years ago but he's nothing but an enemy now."

Or so he thought
