                                                                                              1856

The streets were filled with laughter and joy. You could see kids running around with their friends playing games. Some were playing hopscotch while others were playing duck duck goose.

An older man came out of a carriage. It was  dark blue with golden wheels. Two hoplite's helped him from the carriage and one gave him a cane to help him walk. The elder man had white hair, a deep blue tunic, a white cloak with a golden trim, and sandals that cross laced all the way up to his mid shin.

He began to walk up to Ἡ οἰκία μικρά ἐστιν . As he walked up, there had been other wealthy members of Greece for the auction. Many came far just to get what they were auctioning. The elder man sat in the front row and looked to his left and saw a man he recognized.  The man had dark gray hair, a scar under his right eye, and was around 20 years older than him. The man made eye contact with him then looked away.

He focused his gaze back to the front as a younger male approached the stage with items. The crowd clapped as they saw him with the items.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. As you all could see, I have a jewelry box with diamonds and jewels that shimmer in the light. We restored it after we found it in the rubble. " The crowd all clapped again with oo's and ah's. "We'll start the bidding at  50 drachmas."

The elder man with white hair rose his hand and said with a scratchy voice " 100 drachmas.". The auctioneer looked at him and said " I hear 100 drachmas from Mr. Takami, do I hear 150 drachmas?"

" 200 drachmas" the white haired man and young auctioneer looked at the elder man with gray hair. " 200 drachmas from Mr. Shota. Do I hear 250 drachmas?"

The elder man with white hair gave a pleading look to the gray haired man. he knew why he wanted it. "300 drachmas" "300 drachmas from Mr. Takami. Do I hear 350 drachmas?" The auction room was quite. "Going once.......... Going twice....... And sold!" the young auctioneer handed the white haired male the bejeweled box.

The young auctioneer left and came back with another item. "this right here ladies and gentlemen is the very sword used to fight with the sun god, Apollo. We found it here all bloodied and polished it to its most beautiful form." Everyone gasped except for the two older men. they stood there reminiscing that night.
