Me and Toby stayed at the fireplace sitting with occasional chit-chat. Alex was laying on the ground staring into the sky that was starting to darken. The night was warm with a slight breeze. There was an almost whisper sound coming from the wind as I sat on a log with the stars above me. I tilted my head to look up at the sky watching the clouds cover and uncover the moon as it was full in the sky. Everyone at this point was sitting around the fire that was built either on the ground or on a log. Everyone was chatting but quiet enough so only they could hear their conversations. 

We stayed out by the fireplace for another few hours and I could feel it was starting to get colder, the goosebumps on my arm were getting worse but I didn't really feel like leaving the only little source of warmth. As I was contemplating going back to the cabin, I felt something fall onto my shoulders. I look at it and it's a jacket, I look up quickly to see who had given it to me and saw Schlatt turning his head as he started to walk away from the fire to the cabin. I didn't say anything, and I watched him as he walked away. I grabbed the edges of the jacket and wrapped it around my body to keep warm.

I turned back to the fire, and I could see a few grins on people's faces as they looked at me wearing his jacket. I looked at the ground because I could feel the apples of my cheeks starting to turn red. I couldn't help but smile though I tried to hold it in by biting my lip, but it was hard to keep it in. I used my hands to cover my face and hide it. I took a couple deep breaths and looked back up at everyone with a smile still on my face. I hold the jacket around me and hold it there by crossing my arms. Everyone was looking either at me or at each other trying to figure out if that really happened. I didn't think too much of his gesture though like the others did mainly because I didn't want to assume anything. I mean maybe he was just trying to be nice after noticing I was getting cold. Phil started talking about something else though throwing that topic out the window.

It was an hour later, and a few people had headed back to the cabins to get ready for bed. At this point, I had forgotten I was wearing Schlatt's jacket, so I just stood up, gave everyone that was there a goodnight and headed to the cabin. I got to the door and slowly creeped it open and tiptoed inside. I didn't want to make too much noise not knowing if Schlatt or Toby were asleep, and I didn't want to wake them. I tiptoed on the creaky floor over to my bed and slowly applied my body weight to the bed to lay down. I yawned softly as I moved into a comfortable position to sleep in and settled in. My eyes slowly got drowsy, and I crashed into a deep sleep.

My eyes were just opening when I heard a crashing coming from beside me that caused me to jolt up. I rubbed my eyes that had crusted shut a bit and saw Schlatt who had hit the floor. He looked like he had just woken up and rolled off the bed. In a groggily voice I hear him groan and leave his face in the ground.
"You good dude" I say in my own morning voice. He lifted his head to look up at me only to stare at me for a moment then put his face back into the ground. To be honest this made me chuckle a bit. He slowly pushed his body off the floor, and I went back to laying down. He pushes himself enough to sit on the edge of the bed then rubs his head from hitting the ground. I couldn't help but laugh at his pain which caused him to roll his eyes at me.

I didn't really want to get up, my body just didn't feel up to it. I was comfortable why would I move. I was so tempted to just go back to sleep, but the sun was out and glaring through the windows into your eyes. I forced my body to at least sit up and lean up against the wall. I throw my legs over the side of the bed and groan as I force myself to stand up. Then I groggily walk to the cabin door and walk outside onto the cabin porch. I had to use my hand to cover the sun from my eyes. As bright as it was outside it wasn't all that warm, still pretty cold, but it was still pretty early as I could tell so it was still probably warming up. I held onto the edge of the porch and stared out into the empty field that separated the cabins.

I stood there as the light breeze ran across my face. I look across to the other cabins and see a few people on the porches of their cabins. I saw Alex across on one of the porches. I raised my hand and waved a light wave at him. He waved back then started walking over to me. When he got over, he stood on the ground in front of the porch and looked up at me.
"Hey Y/N"
"Hey Alex... where's everyone?"
"Uh I know Phil and Ted went exploring but I think everyone else is either just relaxing outside or still asleep" I nod and hear our cabin door open and close. I felt someone stand next to me, so I looked over and up to see Schlatt standing beside me. I couldn't help but notice how fucking tall he was compared to me. Well, I was leaning over into the ledge of the porch, but I hadn't really paid attention to his height until now. I didn't notice I was staring until he looked down at me. I then quickly looked away from him back down at Alex.

Me and Alex talked for a moment then he went back to his cabin and went inside. I stood there kind of awkwardly beside Schlatt. I just stood there staring out into the field. I felt Schlatt lead onto the edge of the porch railing beside me. I could feel his arm brushing against mine. I could feel my heart start racing by his touch. I felt my body leaning closer to his until our shoulders were touching. This little moment was rewind by the sound of a gunshot that came out from the distance. I flinched to look over into that direction causing me to move away from Schlatt. Everyone started coming out of their cabins to look around. Phil and Ted came out of the tree line and looked around at everyone. Everyone seemed alive and fine so everyone but Charlie, Me and Schlatt went back into their respective cabins.

I looked over to the creek and got an urge for a bath. The creek in one spot looked pretty deep and I didn't really consider how dirty the water was. At this point I would take anything just to feel anything that was like getting clean. I waited for Schlatt to go before I did anything though. He eventually got bored and left to talk to Charlie. I used this chance to get some alone time. I went into the cabin and grabbed clothes from the drawer beside the bunk bed. Just a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I had a shirt I didn't wear too much and took that to use as a towel of sorts. I also had some of those hotel shampoos and conditioners taking one of each. I took this stuff grabbing my gun as well and left the cabin and walked over to the creek. I got to one of the deep spots and sat my stuff down on a large rock. I looked around making sure no one was around as I started to undress.

There were a couple trees covering where I was but not many. I got down to my undergarments then I took off that sports bra I had been wearing for months and also took off my underwear. I started to walk into the water, and it was so fucking cold, so I got it over with and as quickly as possible got into the water. The water came up to where it was just covering my chest when I squatted a bit. I leaned back and put my hair in the water making sure it was soaked then lifted my head up. I grabbed the small bottle of shampoo, put some in my hands and started scrubbing my head with it. It felt so good to be getting all the dirt off my scalp at the moment. I cup some of the creek water that has started to turn muddy from me moving around the dirt at the bottom. I used the water to wash some of the shampoo off. I had to do this a few times to get it all out.

I heard a loud crack causing me to jump to face it. When I did, I saw Schlatt just standing there wide eyed. We held eye contact for the longest time. Until I made a cough to get his attention. He awkwardly looked away and at the ground. He chuckles awkwardly.
"Uh well sorry..." he said, and I looked down then saw I hadn't submerged the top part of my chest. 'He just saw my boobs.' I thought to myself. I then slowly submerged my chest under the water.
"I'll just leave" he said and turned around leaving me alone. My face was beet red, but I finished my 'bath'.
