I smiled setting my phone in my vanity as I got ready. I sighed curling my eyelashes and applying mascara. I applied strawberry chapstick to my lips, rubbing them together. I got another notification.

I bit my lip ignoring it. I rolled my eyes, hearing footsteps coming down the stairs. I turned seeing my mom with a smile. I smiled back then turned back to my mirror. She came into my room and sat on my bed.
"So I have a surprise for you." She smiled.
"Oh yeah?"
"So I talked to Madi's parents and Madi wants you to come over to Arizona for two weeks." My mom smiled. I stoped breathing.
"Actually?" I asked turning around to face her.
"Yep." She smiled, "Consider this an early birthday present."
"Wait when do I leave?"
"Sunday, so get to packing." She laughed.
"That only gives me the rest of today and tomorrow to pack!" I yelled.
"Well get to it and your staying till November 5." She added.
"Wait are you going?"
"No hun I'm sorry, I have to stay here and work." She sighed, I frowned then got up basically tackling her with a hug, "Oh sweetie I know, but hey, I'm flying out the two days before your birthday, so you'll see me soon."
"But what if I get hurt? Who gonna kiss my ouchie." I sniffled.
"You have never once let me kiss your ouchie."
"Well I wanna start now!" I sniffled again.
"Baby, you'll be okay. I actually have something for you." She beamed, she took out a small credit card with a bow on it, "It's mine, don't spend it all in one week, and if you do text me and I'll add more."
