"How could you steal Tedros from me?" Beatrix shouted angrily as she threw her pillow at me. "For the last time, Bea, I didn't! He came up to me!" I counterstriked as I barely dogder her pillow. "Would you like me to tell you the whole story of what happened that night I skipped dinner?" I yelled. Beatrix went cold. "What?" she asked with a worried look in her eyes. "I was going on my way here and Tedros started walking with me and starting a conversation," I began. "We were standing outside this very door, he caressed my cheek and said he wanted to get to know me better, but I went inside here instead because I thought about how much you love him!" I explained, my words shooting out of my mouth as if I was puking. I felt upset that she threw a fit because of a boy, but she was speechless. "And besides," I calmed down. "I have feelings for someone else." I added, trying to lure the girls in to talk about another topic.

"A boy??" Millicent lit up. Her, Reena and Kiko looked up from behind a pillow fort they hade been hiding behind to shelter themselves. They all crowded around me. Well that was easy. "Who??" they all asked in unison. "I wish I could tell you, but I'd get in so much trouble," I whispered. "Ok, but at least tell us what he is like!" the girls begged, as they were curious about who I liked, considering how I hadn't showed interest in any of the Everboys. "Well.. he has dark hair and eyes. And this lovely personality," I explained. "And his accent!" The girls ghasped. "Is it Chaddick?" Kiko guessed excitedly. "Or Tarquin?" Beatrix suggested. "Maybe, maybe not," I replied smugly. We all giggled.

"And.." I started, making my way to the vase next to my bed. I picked up the half-withered rose Hort had given me. "He gave me this." I showed them adoringly. They looked at it in shock, then disgust. I frowned. "No, it's lovely!" Beatrix said as she noticed my frown. "It's just that it's.. almost withered," she explained. "Yes, but it's part of the charm!" I tried. "Charm.." Kiko thought out loud. "Is it Gregor Charming?" she gasped. "No, he has red hair silly!" Reena replied.

I put the rose back in the vase and met Beatrix's eyes. "Are we ok?" I asked carfully. She gave me a soft smile. "Yes, we're ok," she replied as we hugged quickly. "But I will still go for Tedros," she informed. "All yours," I replied, thankful. "He'll most likely go for you too," I assured her with a joking wink.

I caught Kiko studying her features in her mirror. Her hands moved from her jaw to her hair. She felt through it, watching its color and shine. She frowned, but it soon turned to a smile. "Maybe I should dye my hair red to match Tristan!" she exclaimed. "You'd do that for a boy?" Millicent asked. "Your hair is already red! You wouldn't know!" Kiko replied as she sat down by the mirror. We all gathered around her and started studying ourselves in her mirror too. "I really think I should," Kiko confessed. "I mean, you can do whatever you want, you'll look good either way," I said and she looked up at me. "Then, you'd become the redhead couple," I laughed. "Like two matches!" Millicent laughed as well.
