Chapter 4

"Valentina"s POV

I smiled as I got up from my bed remembering the memories of last night, but I was still in Valentina's body? Hm I must have to do something important here. I walked out before remembering, oh yeah! Bruno Bucciarati, I got out my house. I think is when Bruno is 12, I'm so fricking glad I watched the gang's backstories. I walked out to the hospital and got in without suspect going up and to the room seeing little Bruno sitting outside a room, I smiled walking over while sitting down beside him. He looked up jumping back at the sudden appearance of me,
"Oh my, I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you"
I said softly as he turned his head up and asked
"Who are you Miss?"
He asked very politely making me smiled
"Well aren't you just a cutie, I'm Valentina but you may call me what you wish. Now tell me Bruno what happening right now?"
I asked softly placing a hand on his head patting it
"You don't have to tell me if you do not wish"
I reassured to him as he took my hand I noticed tears streaming down his face, I took a handkerchief from my bag wiping  tears and having him blow his nose so he could speak properly.
"D-Dad got shot.. several times is what the doctors told me.. he's getting patched up right now"
Bruno managed to say as I frowned opening my arms for him making him hug my waist tightly still crying, I smiled petting his hair humming a soft song. A officer came over to the 2 of us and asked
"I'm here to speak to the man's son, is he the man's son?"
He asked with a stern look, I nodded as I tapped his head
"Bruno talk to the officer, I'll be right here"
I said  as he took his face off my stomach, I cleaned his face of snot and tear before the officer continued speaking pulling out a small bag containing a white powder substance
"this was found on your father's ship, we have reason to believe he had witnessed a drug deal and was shot to keep quiet. He's is a very important witness and we need him alive. Me and you correct?"
The man asked before leaving not even staying long enough to have a answer from Bruno, I rolled my eyes at the officer picking up the fairly light boy into my lap and hugging him. He was shaking in anger,
"All because dad witness something like that..?"
He muttered softly, I sat him on my knee as I said softly
"it's because in this little town illegal drugs deals are common, especially with the bad gangs selling drugs to children"
I told him as I smiled
"But let's not get off topic, let's go see if your father all patched up"
I say as he hold my hand walking with me to the room where the nurse smiles at us looking at Bruno
"Your father finally patched up and he's alive"
She smiled telling making his neutral face turn happy thanking a male nurse profusely, I walk beside him going next to him crouching down I tell him softly. "I'll be going now Bruno, be safe"
I said softly as I kissed his cheek, he nodded as I walked out the hospital. I end up at the door where the gang passione recruits, I went in...

Hours later

Bruno's POV

As the 2 men came in from the window, a man came towards my dad with a knife.
"Fishermen have way too much energy, damn it."
I Heard one say annoyed as I gripped the knife I had in my hand,
"Ill keep watch, just hurry up and do it!"
The other one urged while i assume the other came close to my dad getting ready to stab him
"You've got some nerve, making us come here so late at night. Go to hell already!"
He said annoyed coming closer in motion to stab him but I was steps ahead of him before he managed to stab my father I reached out stabbing him with the knife I had in my hand, he looked shocked and frozen for a moment
"Wh-Who the hell are you?"
He asked still frozen seemingly scared not to move, I twisted the knife in the wound and he looked even more shocked.
"A k-kid? H-Hey! Th-That knife's dangerous! Put it down!"
He said nervously yet sternly
"I-It's just a kid! Just take the knife from him!"
The other man who was guarding said frantically, I kept a calm demeanor as I took the knife out rolling to a side jumping onto his back. I stabbed him on the right side of his chest dragging it up to his neck, I got down after rushing to the other man at a quick speed
"W-What are you-"
He barely managed to got out as I stabbed him in his left eye, I took it out and he fell immediately. I dropped the knife looking at my dad hearing the door open, in walked the familiar woman who had long red wavy hair and beautiful hazel eyes. I looked ashamed before I heard clapping from her, I turned to her quickly seeing her smiling and clapping.
"Good job Bruno, you've done well to protect your father" I heard her say behind I hugged her softly smiling now

"Valentina"s POV

I smiled softly patting Bruno's head as he released me from the hug, going over to his dad placing his father's hand in his
"I'll protect you dad, Don't worry take your time getting better"
He promised to his father, I walked over picking up the body. I took out my stand having her dispose of the bodies which she gladly did, I walked over to Bruno kissing his head
"I'll be here whenever you need"
I promised hugging him...
