Whispers amongst students, the rustling of paper and clacking of keyboards is all that can be heard in the library.

Many students are getting a good start on the semester. Taking advantage of the library and tutoring hours is a great way to do that.

Another great way is to have study groups. Not everyone has to be in the same class or have the same major. Just having people to do the work with is motivational enough to push someone to actually do it.

Kaylee is one of those people who needs a push from those around her some days. This is why she was happy to join Malia at the library table when she saw her.

She even dragged Namjoon along with her. They've been working at the same table quietly for about an hour and a half.

Malia's replied to two text messages from Sebastian in the time that she's been doing work.

Kaylee sighs and looks around the library. Her eyes are beginning to hurt from staring at text for so long. They blur and she yawns as she rubs them.

Namjoon side eyes her, knowing damn well that she isn't going to fall asleep after she made him come over here.

"Hey, I didn't know your boyfriend was coming." Kaylee says as she looks past Malia, covering her yawning mouth.

"Hm? He's not-." She looks up at her, ready to correct her.

"He's here." Kaylee points with her pen.

Malia whips her head around and looks back. Sebastian is standing by the librarian's counter with his hands in his pockets. His eyes dart around the building to each different table.

Namjoon looks from Bash to Malia. He knows, from the look on her face, that she didn't know he was coming.

Sebastian finds Malia and looks at the people she's sitting with. He smiles softly at her as she stares at him, mouth slightly ajar. He walks over and Malia sits up straighter.

"You didn't tell me you were coming." She stands up when he's close.

"Yeah, I wanted it to be a surprise so it was kind of a last minute thing."

"Oh... Are you going to be okay coming here with practice and everything?"

Malia doesn't want him coming to see her to affect his job or how well he functions with it. She wants work to be one of his main focuses. He worked so hard to get there. It only makes sense.

"It'll be fine. Want to go get food?"

"Can we go to the beach after?" Malia asks, eyes bright with hope."

"Of course." Bash says softly.

Malia squeals and grabs her stuff. She puts her laptop and textbook into her bag and slings it over her shoulder.

"I got it." Sebastian takes it from her.

"Thank you." Malia says as she scurries off.

Sebastian looks at Kaylee with a head nod. She waves to him in greeting.

"Wassup, Namjoon." Bash looks him dead in the eyes.

Namjoon takes several beats as he looks back at him. Nothing is said. They just look at each other for what feels like a minute.

"Good to see you." Namjoon replies. He sits up in his seat and looks down at the textbook in front of him.

Sebastian turns and walks away, following Malia out of the building.
