They say I am the weakest link in the Pack.

They laugh that I act like a clown.

But do they know how important I am to the Pack?

They fight and are always getting into quarrels

and there I stand in the middle to stop the mess.

Almost like a police, I stop the snapping and they move on.

I put myself in danger so that they can be fit and strong for the Pack.

They say I eat like a rat.

They laugh that I act like a clown.

I am the balance for the Pack.

When food is taken down they fight vigorously.

I ensure that they don't hurt another.

The Alpha must eat first.

I keep them at bay until then.

They feast as I jump among their backs to pretend I want to eat.

I am only keeping them from snapping another by trying to snap me instead.

They say I eat like a rat.

They laugh that I act like a clown.

I eat last.

I never eat scraps.

I eat better than most wolves.

That is my reward for keeping the Pack relations at peace.

Hunting and feeding can weaken relationships,

but I try my best to have them strong.

Afterward, we groom and rest to digest and to restore relationships once again.

They say I am the weakest link in the Pack.

They laugh that I act like a clown.
