This is going to be another slightly unusually long chapter!

Touching his hands caused me to spiral into my past with orphanages and street living. Living on the streets with Jason was much better than an abusive orphanage, but when he was caught stealing tires with me, he got sent to juvie and I got sent back to the orphanage because they didn't believe me to be an accomplice. That was when I was abused a bit more, and where some of the scars on my back came from. Jason would always break me out through some random window when he was able to find me in which room, on which side of the building, and on what floor. This went on only a few times because then we got caught by dad when we were taking apart his car, and that car had become a safe space for me. Like once I was yelled at for breaking something, and I believe it was a vase that Alfred loved, I ran crying into the Batcave, which was empty at the time, and hid in the batmobile. I missed my childhood, or what I had of one. It was sweet and innocent, but it was all stolen from me when the tragedy that was my life hit me like a ton of brick and I watched as my life tore itself apart. I started to fall asleep on the rotting floor of the old apartment, crying myself to sleep basically, until Jason came back with something in his arms, smelling awful, like poop water. It woke me up and that was when I saw the Joker tied up and in his arms. He was passed out in his arms, and I quickly put on my helmet so that the Joker wouldn't get to find out who I was because then he could easily kill me. That was when Jason threw him on the floor and waited for him to wake up. He then started to monologue to me what his actual mission was. He wanted to reform Gotham and get his revenge on the Joker who had killed him. This I knew but I never knew what he went through, and he was going to show the Joker what he did to him so he could find out who he was, and probably dad too. When Joker woke up and he saw me hiding in the corner he started laughing like a maniac that I was familiar with, that chilling laugh. Then he started to get chatty like he often does.

"Wow, the Red Hood working with a bat?! I thought I would never see the day!" The Joker exclaimed.

"She's not working with me. I'm keeping her here." Ja- I mean, Red Hood spat back.

"You caught the littlest bat?! Wow, you keep amazing me! She's so hard to capture sometimes with how quick she is on her feet!" The Joker continues.

"Shut up!" Red Hood said before throwing him towards me, but where his back was towards me. "Now you're going to listen. I'm going to torture you until our special guest arrives." He finished.

"Red Hood" I whispered, "Who's the special visitor? I thought you just wanted him?" I pointed towards Joker.

Jason shook his head and explained, "No no Batgirl, there's more to it than that."

Once he said that he pulled out this duffle bag and pulled out a crowbar. Joker's eyes sparkled for some reason when I saw that as a perfect weapon. That sparkle in his eyes soon disappeared when Red Hood started beating the shit out of him. As he beat him, there was a crash through a wall, and dad ran in looking very panicked. Not sure why, but he was. When he saw me in the back corner I swear to God I almost saw a smile cross his face for a second. I started to run to my dad's arms because living with Jason periodically has really shaken me up and resurfaced some bad memories, like a nightmare where my mother who was dead on the ground started fighting me and I had to fight and kill her so she would stop. When I got up I was shoved back by Red Hood because he claimed I had to be there to witness what he was about to do. I knew dad wanted me to run out of there so that I would be out of the line of firing. So Jason started monologing about his death and how with his moral code Joker is still living despite the trauma that Jason went through. Dad seemed to have no idea that any of this stuff had happened to him, and he felt really bad. I mean I didn't get the full story, but I'm sure someone would give it to me soon, whether it's dad or Jason. Jason and dad started fighting and I immediately got up to pull them apart. I could hear the Joker laughing like a madman behind me, and I found the two of them crashed into a bathroom in the building across the alley. I jumped in through the hole they had made in the wall and found Jason trying to shoot dad. I threw a Batarang right at the gun so he would drop it and I demanded that the two stop it. Dad didn't want me to get in the middle of this, and neither did Jason. It was evident because they were both furious when I interfered instead of staying back or escaping. But the truth was, Jason didn't want me to leave, I knew that much, and I wasn't going to hang around the green-haired maniac that killed my brother and who would probably want to kill me next.
