we stepped into the gate of the airport and the smell of smoke hit my nose. me and julie walked out of the gate and we headed towards the food section, since she said her boyfriend, thiago was meeting us there. we walked over to the food court in the airport and i saw thiago standing there with a massive smile on his face.

"jules!" he yelled as he ran and gave her a massive hug. i smiled and let them have their moment before giving thiago a hug myself. we chatted a little bit until the two decided on going to thiago house. they apparently had an extra bedroom for me to sleep in while jules was with thiago.

"when's your next game?" jules asked and i listened in closely. i've always wanted to go to a brazilian game. since i'm brazilian i would love to be able to support my country. i play soccer myself, i play foward and i've scored a couple goals in my life.

"it's in 3 days, it's against germany" thiago replied and jules nodded with a smirk on her face. "well me and lena wanted to come and watch, she's been crushing on a player" she nudged thiago and i smacked her shoulder from the backseat of thiagos car. "have not!" i defended and she laughed.

"sure babe" she winked and i rolled my eyes playfully. "who is this little crush?" thiago asked and i sighed. "how can i trust you" i laughed though a huff and he grinned. "i keep too many secrets to count" he grinned bigger and i sighed.

"neymar jr" i slapped my hand over my mouth and slumped down into my seat with a smile. "that's what i thought. he'll like you for sure" he smiled and i blushed slightly before glancing down at my phone. i clicked on ney's story and saw a picture of thiago and him. it read, 'next game thursday with my boy' i smiled and placed my phone back down on my lap and looked out the window to admire my home country.

the ride wasn't long. we headed into thiagos house and i was instantly showed to my room. it was a massive bedroom and it was gorgeous. my bed was a king sized bed and it had these rims to make it look even bigger. i immediately jumped onto the bed and lied down and looked at the ceiling.

i'm so excited to be here. my grandmother lives downtown in a small apartment building so i was hoping me and jules can go see her from time to time. i was ripped out of my thoughts when i heard jules calling my name from downstairs.

"yes?" i said as i reached the bottom step. i looked at jules who had a smirk on her face and then i saw a head behind her. i thought it was thiago gonna scare me but when i pushed jules to the side i saw the boy i've been crushing on for years.

my eyes widened and i instantly got super red. "jules" i warned quietly. "what? go say hi" she smirked as she looked at me and neymar who we both had red faces.

"hi i'm helena but you can call me lena" i smiled proudly and neymar walked over to me. "i'm neymar, you probably know. it's really nice to meet you" he smiled too and gave me a little hug.

thiago ruined the little moment by saying we should go out to eat. i nodded and followed as we walked out to the car. we pulled into a restaurant and we headed towards our seat.

"lena sit next to neymar, i'll sit next to thiago" jules said and i nodded and sat down. "so what do you like?" neymar asked me as thiago and jules had their own deep conversation.

"i love soccer, i love little kids because they are really cute, and i like chocolate ice cream" i smiled and neymar laughed. "you for sure will love my kid, davi" he smirked and i smiled.

"of course i will love him" i love kids. i know they can be annoying but i have a soft spot for them. "what are you gonna get?" i asked and he showed me something from the menu.

"i'll get that too" i replied and he nodded and we just talked about mine and his soccer career and davi. "davi loves chocolate ice cream so get ready to be sick of it" neymar laughed as he showed me a picture of davi.

"he's so cute" i smiled at the picture and neymar smiled. "you should come to my place tomorrow, i have davi for the rest of the week" he suggested and i smiled. "i would love to" i smiled and that's when the food got placed in front of us. i took a bite and it reminded me of what my mother used to make when i lived in brazil when i was young.

"so how's living here so far?" neymar asked me and jules and she was the first to respond. "i absolutely love it" she grinned and i rolled my eyes playfully at her. "i love this place with all my heart" i then said and neymar had a smile implanted to his face.

we soon finished our food and we got into thiagos car. i sat in the back with neymar as the other two sat in front. we dropped neymar off at his place. he put his number in my phone so he can pick me up tomorrow. and then we headed off to thiagos.

"soo how was neymar" jules looked back at me through the front seat and i blushed. "good..." i trailed off and she winked at me before she looked back at thiago who also had a smirk on his face. i rolled my eyes and looked at my phone and went to instagram. i saw a picture of me and neymar that he posted on his story. it said, 'loved dinner with lena' my heart wanted to fall out of my chest. life is unreal at times and today is that time.

we got to thiagos house i went upstairs and started to get ready to go to bed. traveling from los angeles to brazil is tiring. i put on some pajamas and set an alarm for 10 a.m. i went to brush my hair and teeth and then i was off to bed.

life is so unreal.
