Lost memory || Thomas¹

'Lᴏsᴛ Mᴇᴍᴏʀʏ'

I was waiting for Thomas to meet me in lab of Wicked. "Hey what's up?" I questioned Thomas while he starts to walk towards me and backing me up until my back hits the wall I look up at Thomas with a confused face.

"Hey. Did anyone see you come here?" He told me. I frown, "no. What are you talking about?" I asked him and he looked around like he was looking for someone. "We don't have a lot of time." He said to me while grabbing my arm and I looked down and then at him.

"Thomas, what's wrong?" I asked him with a concerned voice. "I-I just had to see you... and just try to explain things before..." Thomas stopped at mid sentences before pulling me somewhere else. "Oh, no," Thomas said. "Thomas!" I said to him and then he pushed me back against the wall our faces inches away from one another.

"Just listen to me. Okay? Whatever they tell you about me. Whatever they say I just need you to know I had to do it." Thomas said to me and I eyed him up and down with an extremely confused face. "Okay?" He said to me, I swallowed thickly.

"What did you do, Tommy?" I questioned him with a frown look on my face. "I just couldn't keep watching them die," Thomas said to me looking at me up and down.

"Just remember no matter what I'm always there for you. Even if I don't remember you. You're always going to be in here, " He said to me while placing my hand on his heart I look into him just to see him looking straight into my eyes before looking down at my lip.

I smile and nodded feeling tears running down my cheek. "They are putting you into the maze?" I questioned him and he gave me shook his head. "No. Thomas, we can fix this." I said to him tears running down my cheeks. "There's no fixing." He said to me and I started to sob even more.

"Please Tommy, don't leave me," I said to him while he places his hands on both sides of my face making me look up at him. "Hey, everything is going to be okay." He said to me making eye contact with me before doing something I didn't know he was going to do.

He kissed me like there wasn't anymore tomorrow and it was true it was the last time I would see him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. We pulled away looking into each other's eyes.

"Remember this okay?" He said to me and I nodded before giving him one last kiss. "Remember this one. Please Thomas take care of yourself." I said to him connecting our foreheads. "I will. Just remember.." he said before stopping and looking up at me.

"Just remember I love you." He said to me and it took me by surprise before I could say anything I heard someone. "Over here! Come on." The security said coming out of nowhere and grabbing Thomas by the arm and dragging him away from me. "No!" I said running after them before being stopped by another guard.

"I'm sorry." He said to me and I shook my head and tried to get out of the guard's arms. "Thomas!" I said to him crying. "Let me go!" I yelled angrily to the guard holding me. "Hey, are you okay?" One of the doctors said and I turn to face her wiping my tears away.

"Am I? I just watch the boy that I'm in love with, my best friend get taken away from me right in front of me and I couldn't do anything. So no I'm not okay." I said to the woman angrily turning to look at the guard who had me, "let me go now? He's gone isn't he?" I said to him angrily and he did, I gave them one last glance before walking away.

I was heading back to the others when I saw Teresa sitting there typing away so I walked up to her spinning her around. "Did you know?" I said breaking into tears again. "Bloom? What's going on?" She questioned me and I bit my inside cheek before letting out a scoff.

"Oh come on don't give me that innocent look you know what I'm talking about," I said to her angrily. "Bloom I have no idea what's going on so why don't you just calm down." She said placing a hand on my shoulder and I pushed them away.

"Don't your dare tell me to calm down because I'm not going to? After everything he has done for you you're just going to get rid of him just like that." I said to break down more.

"Bloom just tell me?" She said to me annoyed. "They took him." I blurted out to her. "Took him where?" She questioned me. "They took him to the maze," I said to her and she was shocked at what I said.

"Why?" She said to me and I let out a sigh. "I don't know? He just told me to meet up with him and then he told me he just had to do it he couldn't watch them die," I said to and she frown at me.

"Wait he asked you to meet him?" She questioned me and I tilted my head to one side. "That's the only thing you gathered what I was telling you," I said to her and she roll her eyes at me. "I guess he trusts more his best friend than you," I said to her with a forced smile on my face.

ONE MONTH LATER

"Mary I sent you the coordinates of every single WICKED compound and trials," I said to her while sending the last data about WICKED and what they have done to the others. "Bloom are you sure? You know what happens." She said to me and I let out a sigh.

"I can't just sit here and do nothing. They are sending them into the maze. I-I just can't watch them die not if I can do something." I said to her while letting out a sigh. "I know this is hard losing Thomas. He'd be proud of you for doing this."  She said to me.

Before I could say anything to her the door burst open and I saw Dr. Paige along with two bodyguards. "Aunt Ava? What's going on?" I said to her and she made a signal to the two guards and both of them grabbed my arm tightly. "I trusted you, Laurel." My aunt said to me and I didn't show her any emotions.

"Yeah well, this is what happens when you take something away from me," I said to her and she scoffed. "I didn't take anything from! Thomas had a choice and he chose wrong." She said to me and I scoffed.

"He did the right choice. And, so am I." I said before fighting the guards off me and Turing around and pressing enter. "Bloom, No!" My aunt said but it was already too late everything was leaked.

"Take her to with the others now." She said to the guards I attacked. "You." She said walking up to me. "You choose a stupid boy over family." She said to me and I spatted her face.

"Thomas was more family than you ever were," I said to her. "You stopped being my family when you got my mother killed," I said to her angrily. "Get her out of here now." She said to them and they took me away.

That's when I knew I get to see him again, but I wouldn't remember him or he wouldn't remember me it would be like being strangers with no memory like it's a lost memory. We'd be strangers again and this time I guess it would be for good.
