The morning sunlight gently streamed into my apartment, casting a warm glow over my everyday life in Seoul. It was another ordinary day, one that began with the familiar routines of getting ready for work and sharing a quick breakfast with my roommate, Ji Eun. Our small apartment felt cozy, a sanctuary amidst the bustling city.

After a few exchanged words and smiles, Ji Eun and I headed to our workplace, Jeon Insight, where we both had thriving careers. The office buzzed with activity as we settled into our roles, tackling the challenges that came with our responsibilities. The company, though shadowed by rumors, was a place of innovation and ambition.

As the day unfolded, news of a new investor meeting in the afternoon reached my ears.

The meeting was a crucial point in my day, and I found myself seated at a conference table surrounded by a group of stern-faced investors. I took a deep breath and began the presentation.

"As you can see from the report," I explained, gesturing towards the screen, "our recent innovations in the field of renewable energy have given us a significant edge over our competitors. Our proposed project aims to harness solar energy in a more efficient and sustainable manner, reducing costs while maximizing output."

The investors exchanged glances, and one of them, Mr. Park, raised a skeptical eyebrow. "You propose quite the ambitious plan, Miss Yn. What assurance can you provide that this venture will be successful?"

I maintained my composure, responding with confidence, "We have conducted extensive research and feasibility studies. Our team, with its experience and expertise, is well-equipped to handle this project. Furthermore, the current global shift towards renewable energy sources creates a ripe market for our innovations."

Another investor, Ms. Lee, leaned forward, clearly intrigued. "Tell me more about the expected return on investment and the timeline for this project."

I continued, outlining the financial aspects and our projected timelines. "With our strategic approach, we anticipate a return on investment within three years, and our long-term vision is to establish Jeon Insight as a leader in sustainable energy solutions."

The room fell silent for a moment as the investors absorbed the information. Then, a chorus of nods and murmurs of approval followed. I had successfully conveyed the potential of our project, leaving a favorable impression on the investors.

The room filled with applause, and I was entrusted with the role of project incharge. It was a moment of personal triumph, a testament to my hard work.

During our lunch break, I joined Ji Eun, along with Minji and Soo Hyuk, for a meal together. Minji, with her curiosity piqued, tried to engage us in conversation about the rumors surrounding Jeon Insight and its enigmatic CEO, Jeon Jungkook.

Minji leaned forward, her eyes gleaming with intrigue. "Have any of you heard about the rumors? They say that Jeon Jungkook has a hidden identity, and there are secrets buried within the company."

Soo Hyuk chuckled, taking a bite of his meal. "Rumors, Minji. You know how they circulate in the corporate world. It's probably just gossip from competitors trying to tarnish our image."

I couldn't help but be drawn into the conversation. "But what if there's some truth to it? I mean, why is he so secretive about his personal life?"

Ji Eun, always the voice of reason, chimed in. "Yn, you can't believe everything you hear. People like to create mystery where there isn't any. We should focus on our work and not get caught up in baseless speculations."

The lunch break ended, and we returned to our respective tasks. As the day progressed, I couldn't help but ponder Minji's words. Something felt off, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
