Chapter 2

After Y/n's match with Sonya, she left the ring and made her way to catering where she found her friend Mayleen or as you call her Lee. You confided in Lee and always told her everything even about your crush on Kane. You knew she'd never judge you but still you were uncertain about telling her until she told you she had a thing for Kane's 'brother' the undertaker.

You went over to where she was sitting with a couple of your other friends. When Lee spots you she says,
"Good job out there," with a kind smile as your other friends congratulated you on your win as well.
"Thanks you guys," you replied to them smiling as well.
"Oh y/n there's some food over there if you're hungry," Lee tells you pointing to where the food is usually served.
"They're all pastries," Lee adds. That sealed the deal for you. You loved pastries and anything sweet.
"Alright, thank you Lee," you responded to her while making your way to the food.

While serving your self some macaroons you felt a presence behind you and you knew exactly who it was, Kane. You turned around and looked up. He was already looking down at you and you began to panic feeing your palms get sweaty and heart beat faster.
"O-oh I'm sorry were you gonna get something?" You asked him shyly. He nodded his head yes.
"I'm sorry," you say to him while moving out of the way. He continues looking at you while you tried distracting yourself by serving some pie onto your plate. You looked up at him again and see a hint of curiosity and confusion in his eyes. You then realize you've been staring directly into the eyes of Kane for a whole minute. Kane as in your crush and possibly the most feared person on the roster. Realizing this you began speed walking away back to the table your friends sat at.

Lee was looking at you and you immediately knew she saw that whole interaction.
"Don't even," you whispered to her while sitting down. You felt quite embarrassed and definitely did not want to talk about that situation. Luckily you had a plate full of some of your favorite pastries right in front of you.

While practically stuffing your mouth with macaroons you felt Lee tap your shoulder. You looked at her and she subtlety moved her eyes to your side
"would you look at that," she told you. You looked to where she was looking and there sat Kane looking at your table. You had no clue who he was staring at but you became so embarrassed and turned away. You felt your face heat up and Lee started laughing at you.
"How long has he been staring over here?" you quietly asked Lee.
"About 8 minutes," Lee replies with a small smirk.
"I-I um I think I'm just gonna go back to my room," you tell her rather embarrassed.
"Alright," Lee says chuckling.

You got up and began making your way to your room. While walking in the hallways you run into Mr. McMahon.
"oh y/n I was just looking for you I wanted to discuss something with you if you aren't busy?" he asks you.
"oh of course," you responded giving him a friendly smile.
"Ok, please follow me to my office."
