Chapter 3

Mr. McMahon led you to his office and signaled you to sit down in the chair infront of his desk.
    "What is it you wanted to talk about Mr. McMahon?" You asked.
    "Well I'm not sure if you've heard yet but,  we're planning on having mixed matches again and I was hoping you would want to join?" he asked you.
    "Oh, yes of course id love to, "you told him with a small smile.
    "Great because we already have a partner for you," he replied looking nervous.
   "Oh? Is that so? Who is it?" You asked rather confused.
    "Well he was the only wrestler left, none of the women on the roster wanted to partner with him so I hope your not scared or mad but, you'll be partnered with Kane," he told you.
   "oh my.. well um- I don't mind," you replied with a smile but deep down you were very nervous. Not because you were scared of Kane, well you kind of are but only because you like him the reason your nervous is because you'll likely mess up because of your nervousness and embarrassment around him and you don't want him to think of you as useless or weak.
    "Alright well, the first match will be in 2 days," he told you.
   "Ok thank you Mr. McMahon I'll be going now," you said while getting up and walking out the door.

While walking to your room you were very nervous you could feel your heart beating out of your chest. You began speed walking trying to get into your room faster. Once at the door you went in quickly and shut the door practically slamming it. You couldn't get his name out of your head. You went into your mini fridge and grabbed a water bottle drinking more than half of it in less than a minute. You began calming yourself. How you hated the way you got when you liked someone. Since middle school every time you ever had a crush on a guy you'd be so nervous around them and not the normal kind of nervous when your around your crush but, nervous like there's a serial killer in your home.

Well you had to get over this nervousness and anxiety you wouldn't be able to handle embarrassing yourself infront of Kane.

Kane's pov.

Mr. McMahon had just finished talking to me a few minutes ago he told me he'd found a partner for me. I didn't want to be in these mixed matches but the wrestlers were chosen randomly. Once he told me who I'd be partnered with I couldn't have been more excited. Y/n God she's beautiful I don't think I've ever seen someone like her she looks like an angel but I don't think she'd feel the same towards me almost everyone is scared of me. The only reason me and her are partnered is because all the other women on the roster don't want to be my partner. I'm hopeful though maybe I'll be able to talk with her more if she's not afraid.
