Applause rang out the auditorium as Cardin puffed his chest in pride, behind him was his team and the Sky kids that he saved cheering and applauding for their saviors.
"Up next is Ruby Rose, Lie Ren, Nora Valkyrie, and Jaune Arc. With the retrieval of a child of light, as well as the ingenuous idea of sending a firework rocket to attract the other children of light's attentions, I announce that you four are officially Team RNJR led by Ruby Rose." Zu deep called starting a chain reaction to the other children of light saved by the firework rocket. Ruby looked shocked but soon after chuckled nervously.
"And finally, Pyrrah Nikos, Weiss Schnee, Yang Xiao Long, and Blake Belladonna. With the retrieval of two children of light as well as defending the escape of the other teams. I announce you four as Team PLBS led by Pyrrah Nikos." Applause and cheers rang out in the amphitheater, Phyrra and Weiss bowed slightly, Yang sent flirtatious winks at the crowd, and Blake disappearing into the shadows like she was never there.
"Good work all of you, now all of you off to your rooms. The Academy will provide you a scroll with an in built gps of where to find them." With that, the day's events drew to a close. Ruby looked at her scroll and saw in the indicator that their neighbor team is PLBS. Their room was a 5 bed room while their sister team was a 6 bed room, if that didn't say you are to babysit the sky kids then the prompt of 'How to take care of a Sky kid' with a chibi Ozpin would be enough to convince you.
Ruby looked at her team and Team PLBS, "Well looks like we're neighbors from now on, let's all get along okay?" Pyrrah smiled, "Please take care of us." Zu watched the exchange and looked at the other sky kids, "Why do I feel like I'm being treated like a moth again by these tall people?" Jeremy and Fi chuckled, "Well technically, we are moths here."
Jeremy looked at the windows and looked at the broken moon, "This realm is completely different from what I have known, living creatures and dark creatures coexist here in a delicate balance." Fi nodded at what Jeremy said, "And don't forget the fact that we were suddenly thrusted into this realm with no way to get back.
Within her mind, she knew that they couldn't go back home to the kingdom of Sky. The metaphoric home gate in her mindspace was greyed out, like how they're greyed out in Eden. But it wasn't all that bad, Fi found out that as long as she imagined herself changing clothes she can change into any outfit she had owned without the need of a Pants altar.
"Now that you mention it, how did you guys get here? All I remember was going through the Orbit gate and here I was." Zu tilted her head in curiosity, Jeremy and Fi looked at each other, "You don't know?" Zu was confused, "Know what?"
"The new season started, it was called The Season of Remnant"
