Luca spent most of Monday morning in the guestroom he'd claimed; there was one meeting today, but it had to do with the practice. He didn't know why his dad never revoked his shares when he dropped out of law school, but for some reason, he hadn't.

He heard the telltale of cooking coming from the kitchen and knew Kit had arrived. He headed out slowly. She was alone, standing by the stove. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail, and she had those cute pink scrubs on. He crept up behind her quietly so she didn't hear him. Then he grabbed hold of her ponytail and pulled her toward him.

"Luca!" She scolded him.

"I know you like it rough," he teased, pushing his hips at her.

"One weekend-only event, remember?" As she reminded him, she pushed her butt back in what was probably an attempt to push him back. Instead, he grabbed her hips and held her flush against him.

"What's three more days?" He asked as he let his lips linger near her ear, "Call it an extended weekend."

"No, I call it Monday, and I'm about to burn this omelet, so move."

"You, move, I'll do it," he pushed her out of the way and flipped it for her; she shrugged and went to get the tray from the island where it hung on a hook. Luca's eyes followed her as she bent over to grab it, and she knew because she was biting her lip and pretending she didn't.

He'd love to bend her over the island and take her right that second-

"Stop that," she was blushing now and scolded him in a loud whisper as she whirled around to look at him.

"I wasn't doing anything," he said with an innocent grin, even as his eyes flickered suggestively at her.

"I could practically hear your thoughts," she argued as she got the tray together.

"Because you share them," he pointed out.

She rolled her eyes as she walked past him with the tray towards the stairs.

"Your silence speaks volumes, Kit Kat."

"Leave her alone, Luca," Andre came out of the office with a massive stack of papers and a pinched-looking face. Kit nodded at him and then headed up the stairs.

"What is all that?" Luca asked.

"Richard asked me to print a handful of things," Andre explained as he went to get himself a cup of coffee.

"For what, today's meeting?" Luca asked.

"No Wednesday's meeting," Andre explained.

"Wednesday's meeting is about the estate," Luca commented, "what does he need paperwork for now?"

"He said he wants to look over everything and be prepared so it can be a quick meeting," Andre explained.

"A meeting like that isn't going to go fast," Luca argued. "He doesn't need to prepare."

"Father can't handle a long meeting."

"Andre, still with that father shit? I can't believe you actually get laid," Luca shot out.

"Knock it off, Luca," Andre muttered. "I'm going to go take Carly to breakfast before the meeting; I'll see you there."

"Leave those papers," Luca said.

"But Richard wants them."

"He can wait until I'm done looking at them," Luca said as he snatched them away.

Leonardo sat quietly as he enjoyed the omelet Kit cooked; after a weekend of frozen meals with Andre, it was wonderful to have a home-cooked meal again. He hadn't had much appetite all weekend; it came and went these days.
