"Wake up, love birds!"

"What the?" Luca grunted as a blond torpedo jumped into his bed the next morning.

"Carly, what are you doing?" Kit asked as the intrusive girl wiggled her way in between the couple.

"Andre said to see if you guys were up yet," she said as she got settled in.

"We weren't!" Luca complained as he pulled the blanket over his head and turned in the other direction.

"Fine, I'll cuddle, Kit," Carly said as she spooned the little redhead; Kit giggled and snuggled up with her best friend.

"Hands off," Luca joked as he rolled back over.

"Nope, she was mine first," Carly grinned cheerfully as she kissed Kit's cheek. "This bed is comfy; can Kit and I have a sleepover in it later?"

"Stop putting dirty thoughts in my head; you're almost married to my brother," Luca said, and Kit tossed a pillow at him while Carly laughed.

"Seriously though, you guys do have to get up. Andre made Leo an appointment this morning, and we need to go soon."

"We?" Luca raised an eyebrow as he sat up.

"Yes, we're all going," Carly said as she sat up but stayed plopped between the couple.

"I have to go home to change then," Kit said as she sat and rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"Fine, but just change, no cleaning," Carly directed. "I'll come over late and force Jase and Jess to do it."

"They'll conveniently disappear until it's done," Kit said wryly.

"I'll make Jase clean then," Luca spoke up. "You're not cleaning up after those punk kids."

"Ah, he can be sweet!" Carly turned to kiss Luca's cheek, and he grimaced and wiped it off.

"Carly, will you get out of my bed, please?" He whined at her as Kit laughed to herself. No one else would get away with that.

Carly laughed but climbed out and then, as fast as she burst in, burst back out of Luca's room.

"They're up now!" she called to Andre as the door shut.

"Should I get up and lock the door," Luca gave her a suggestive look.

"We don't have time; she'll come back if we don't hurry."

Kit rolled out of bed and gathered what she could for clothes; she'd worn a pair of jean shorts and a tee shirt to the lake last night.

"Not fair," Luca complained.

"You didn't get enough last night?" Kit cocked an eyebrow at him as her lip twisted into a tiny smirk.

"Baby, I'm never going to get enough of you."

"Good answer," she grinned as she tossed one of his shirts on over her jean shorts.

"I'll just meet you at the hospital then," Kit said as Luca approached her.

"I could come with you to change," he offered with that dangerous glint in his eyes.

"We both know where that will lead," she grinned as she tiptoed up to press a kiss on his lips.

"Why I offered," he agreed.

"We really shouldn't be late for his appointment."

"Fine, but later I want you all to myself."

"I work today, Luca; you can't have me all to yourself."

"Again, I say, not fair."

"Some of us have jobs and stuff," she rolled her eyes, "I know what a concept."
