"Jade you know what you're asking?" Autumn asked.

"Yeah bitch! I'm asking you to take Major to this football game for me please? It starts at eight tonight, you gotta be here for six to avoid traffic & it's an hour away. You know I have to work tonight. I promised him I'd take him but with his father being absent it's been a lot harder on me, please Autumn?"

"Oh no Jade, don't use the 'no father' card on me. I hate that, that's not fair! Where is Major anyway?" Autumn tried walking out of Jade's kitchen to the bathroom to number one, but Jade was hot on her heels.

Jade stood in the door frame as Autumn did her thing. "Playing ball. Come on, for me..."

Autumn was a beautiful red bone with the deepest dimples you've ever laid eyes on. She stood 5'4, big brown eyes, long flowing hair & very misunderstood. She looked too much like Miss America to be with that no good dude of hers.

Jade stood about 5'6, a beautiful shade of brown skin, no dimples or at least you couldn't tell, she wasn't one to smile. She once had the same length of hair as her sister but she chopped it all off and added some honey colored dye to her ends. Jade wasn't one to give up, she hated being told no. It's not like she came up spoiled but now that she could get things for herself, she still didn't like being no.

"Autumn just think about it for me, it won't even take long."

"Three hours and twelve minutes Jade?! Man, Major is sixteen years old, let that boy go with his friends. Plus I have a dinner date with Kenneth. Can I ever have privacy?" She whined.

"I've seen that already, what privacy? Ain't no privacy bih."

Autumn pulled up her pants, flushed the toilet, and went to wash her hands. She watched herself in the mirror as her sister went on and on. One thing stood out to her the most.. Jade yelled "Mommy said 'The best thing about having a sister is that she'll always be a friend.' Now she didn't just say that?"

Their mom had passed about seven years ago, it still burned deep within them. Autumn was mad at God for a second until she realized she could never win against him, it was just how it had to be.

"Why you always gotta do that sis?" Autumn whined as she reached for the decoration towel to dry her hands.

"If I hadn't you wouldn't had done it, eh?" Jade smirked.

Autumn pushed passed her to get out of the bathroom, she started to feel like the walls were closing in on her. "Fuck you, hoe." Autumn left.

"Fuck you too bitch." Jade smiled. "Don't forget, six!"

Autumn left her with a middle fingered response.

:

"Kenneth?" No answer "Baby?" Autumn yelled. No answer "Kenny!" Still no damn reply. "Good, his ass ain't here." Autumn whispered to himself just in case he snuck up on her.

Autumn ran up the long curvy stairs that were covered in a red velvet carpet, she had just had that done. In she walked into her echoey room that had red velvet carpet from wall to wall, the whole upstairs was covered in the same carpet actually. She walked in to her walk-in closest and took a moment to admire what she had, the shit was beautiful. She grabbed a white shirt with some gold and silver sequence all around it. A pair of khaki colored jeans, with some gold sparkly flats.

The rest of the day she intended to spend at the mall and Starbucks, she honestly didn't need to hear Kenneth's mouth. That's the last thing she needed.
