Pilot

So, not only is this me doing something new, I'm also trying the 'pilot' style of writing. What that means is if I decide to try something new or write something new, I'll make a pilot and leave it up to decide whether it's something I should go for or not. In other words, if I get enough readers wanting more of this, then it'll become a thing to work on.

If it doesn't, then I just leave it as a pilot and don't work on it until readers change their minds or if I finish with everything else. Otherwise, I'll just leave it as a discontinued note in the title and never touch it again. I do have a habit of making a lot of things with passion at first and sometimes leave them to rot for a while or loss said-passion overtime, and this might get the same treatment, or I focus on this more than anything else.

This is just another of those stories I write completely for the fun of it. Will I regret it later? Possibly, there's hardly any projects I work on that I don't regret later on.

I feel like I should explain why I sometimes make too many projects is because I listen to some of the people who I consult when I write, and they say that indulging my creative ideas helps me get more creative with other stuff and motivate me to write more. I can't say they're wrong, because I have so many new ideas and such every day and they never get written down.

And sometimes, I get whack or sometimes meaningful and eloquent ideas when I'm in the shower or in the car, and then I when I get to writing, I forget about them unless I'm constantly thinking about them. Anyway, so this is a non-canon spinoff for one of my more serious Steven Universe AUs, Steven Universe: Arkham Edition.

Now, don't be alarmed, if you haven't read it, you don't have to. I'm just stating that this is taking a lot of characters and elements from Arkham Edition. However, lots of characters, including ones from Arkham Edition have different origins or introductions to this.

I don't plan on updating this regularly until I finish Arkham Edition, or if it's voted against.

Synopsis: Steven meets a new enemy who has proven to be more unusual than the rest. White Diamond celebrates her anniversary.

3rd Person P.O.V.

Homeworld:

Steven is investigating the break-in at Homeworld's rehabilitation center. It was late at night, making it difficult to look for any clues easily with the aid of the sunlight. Steven entered the front doors, the moon light illuminating the lobby for Steven to see for a brief moment before the doors close, giving him an adequate layout of the lobby.

Steven walked into the lobby and past the reception desk, the receptionist's shift was over hours ago as the clinic had closed for the night. Steven would be charged with trespassing if he wasn't under the immunity of White Diamond granting him the authority to bend the rules for his favor. At first glance, it would seem that White Diamond would be biased for giving Steven special privileges, since he is the son of the former Pink Diamond.

But Steven doesn't take advantage of his high status, as he would only use it for good use, just like the hero he is. Steven is known for being the public hero on Homeworld, and the little town on Earth called Little Homeworld. The public trusts Steven to keep their society safe, with him being different from the Diamonds and rejuvenating the world.

Just last year, Steven changed the entire world in one night and started Era-3, to which White Diamond did most of the rewriting of Homeworld rules and laws. White Diamond herself seemed to have changed more than the world, which seems very unlikely. But White Diamond isn't on the topic right now, the topic is discovering who broke into the rehabilitation clinic.

Steven was curious to know. There was nothing valuable in this facility to steal and it's meant for curing gems who were suffering from mental issues or PTSD. However, some gems were admitted to this place because of the physical trauma that was inflicted onto them by Steven Universe himself.
